Stop to Smell the Flowers

Just  trying to get a few more  challenges done today!  I haven't had a lot of  time but did  sit down for a bit.  This  cute  little girl was a freebie at Love to Create.  I used the Sketch at Papertake Weekly so that I could complete  both challenges at one time.  Wednesday's Creative Inspiration and Dream Valley  both have a flower challenge.  4 Crafty girls and Fan-Tastic Tuesday both have an Anything  Goes Challenge.

Frog Box

A few  weeks ago I made  animal boxes for a friends  children. She has  2 little girls and a boy!  Well I gave one of the boxes away before I saw them so had to make one more.  I decided the little boy would probably like this  frog as much as he would the puppy he was originally going to get.  I will also use this cute little  box in the Little Tangles Make a Gift Challenge.  There are several Anything Goes Challenges this week and I will use it for the  following:

Its A Girl

I needed a  baby card for a friend and it  fit the CAS on Sunday Baby Challenge as well as the Sweet and Sassy Border backgrounds and the A Gem of A Challenge Stitching Challenge.  It is a  bit  simple for me but I was in a hurry to get it done.

The  challenge at  As You like it is 2 embellishments and why.  I  like  blink so I use a  lot of  sparkly gems and of course I love ribbon. Milk and Coffee has a Stripes challenge.  Glitter and Sparkle has a Butterfly Challenge. 613 Avenue Create and Crafting from the heart both have an Anything Goes Challenge.  I used the  Sketch from Sketch Saturday

I really wanted to get The Paper Shelter challenge done today! Most of the time I don't have time to get  their challenge in  but I really love their sweet images.  I decided to print and cut this one rather than coloring her myself.  I was almost done with it when I realized it was supposed to have lace on it. So I had to go back and add a little lace to the hat.  I will also use this for Word  Art Wednesday and Scrap and Scribble both have an  Anything Goes Challenge.  Sweet Stampin has a Cowboy/Cowgirl Challenge.

The challenge at Tuesday Throw down is Furry Friends.  Pinspirational Challenges is a picture of a cat and a dog.  Penny's Paper Crafty Challenges is Christmas, Children or Critters. Cats are  definitely critters. Treasured Times Rubber Stamps Challenge  and Mark's Finest Papers both have Anything Goes  challenges.

A few days ago I  saw A really cute card  similar to this one  but I forgot to bookmark it so I had to come up with something outta my brain.  It doesn't  match the image I really had but it  is  cute.  I love that little worm. I need to find more uses for him. Bee Belly Box

I  simply love these  cute little belly boxes from The Scrap Chick!  She has so many different animals in her  collection.  I had been waiting to do these bees for some time.   I thought they would be perfect for the Boxes and Bags Challenge at My Craft Spot.  Clear it  Out has an Anything Goes Challenge. Brown Sugar Challenges is Kraft paper.  I used craft paper  for the honey pot.  Creatalicious has an Up in the Sky Challenge.

Pumpkin Pigwit

This is  my card for the I {heart} sketch # 76 as well as for the I Heart stamps monthly  challenge.  I  don't usually  do the same thing for both challenges  but this month was here and gone before I wanted it to be. I will also be  entering this in the Simon Says Monday Anything Goes Challenge

Bugs

I apparently over looked the What If Wednesday Sketch for this week but I still had a couple hours to get it done.  Once again I am using a left over image and a  scrap of paper  to complete this  little boys card.  613 Avenue Create has an  Anything Goes Challenge.  Spectrum Noirs Challenge is nature.  I used  the  following colors for this  image.  GB3 and GB5 for his hair  DR2  for bugs  TB4 and TB5 for his  jeans, TN3 for the  stick and JG1 for the stripes in his  shirt, knee patch and leaves.

Strawberry

This  started out as  a tag from the Silhouette Online Store but I adapted it to make a card instead.  I  really like the bright happy  colors.  Cute Card Tuesday has a Clean and Simple Challenge.  This  was  very simple and  maybe  my idea of CAS  isn't the same as some  others but I think its CAS for me.  Sweet N' Sassy has a Summer Challenge nothing  says  summer better to me than that first  bite into a fresh picked  Strawberry.  Creative Fingers Has  an Anything goes challenge.   Creative Fingers has an Embossing challenge. Papertake Weekly has a die  cut challenge.

happy Kite

The challenge at Meljen Designs is  Splat!   I spray  painted my back ground paper with some sky blue paint then added  the  cut out  clouds and the  Kite from the  mini weekend challenge.  I was too late getting it done to post in that  challenge.  Artistic Inspirations Challenge is Up Up and Away.  Creatalicious' challenge is Up in the Sky./

Penguin On Float

This  cute  little penguin is  just floating along without a care in the world.  He is   gonna float right in to the Papertake Weekly spots and  dots challenge.  he has  spots on his float and  lots of  dots in the  background paper. Crafting By Design  has a polka challenge.

Yellow flowers

The sketch at Tuesday  Throw down was really  quite simple so I decided to combine it with the My Craftspot 3 d flower challenge.  The  glue didn't stick very well in this picture  so  I had to  glue everything  down again.  I think that glue stick has  about had it.  Crafting From the Heart is always an  Anything goes challenge

I don'r use my paper Shelter Images near enough! And again I was in a  rush to get this card done!  Paper Shelter's Challenge this month is Die Cuts.  CASology  is  Magic.  Chocolate Coffe Cards is Fairies.  Brown Sugar Challenges, In the Pink and Creative Fingers ball have  anything goes Challenges.

Cat in Flower Pot

I'm still  cleaning off my  desk and all of this stash of   left over pieces.   This  cat  was   hiding under  my mat on the  desk so I decided this would be a perfect place for him.  I used the sketch from Crafting Desert  Divas and used Primary  colors so that I could include it in the Pile It On  challenge as well.  Artistic Inspirations and  Marker Pop both have an Anything Goes Challenge.

Glo and Bill

My friend  Gloria and her husband Bill are celebrating their 50th anniversary next week.  So I made this  CAS card to send to them. Also It  will fit in the Addicted to CAS challenge. And  since it is  a wedding anniversary I cant  see why it wont work in the Glitter and Sparkle Challenge as well.

Window/Bike

Today I made this Window card with a bike parked out front because of the challenge at Sweet Stampin'. Ive had this  bike laying on my  desk for quite some time as a  left over from another project.  Crafting From the  Heart and Word Art Wednesday both have an Anything Goes Challenge and  613 Avenue Create has a Sights, Smells, and Tastes of  Summer Challenge.  Its always fun to ride bikes in the summer and the flowers smell  like summer to me. Apple Shaped Nugget holders

I made  half a  dozen of these darling little apple shaped  nugget  holders  for  the kids on theitr first day of school.  Only to  find out  someone  had already eaten the  whole bag of cookie and cream nuggets.  Oh Well  guess I will  buy some more tomorrow.  These are  from SVG Cutting Files and I want to use them in  the Back to School Challenge.

Bright Pink Butterfly

The  Challenge at CAS on Sunday is  Butterflies.  This  wasn't exactly what I had in my  minds  eye but it just worked out this way instead. And the challenge at  A  Gem of a Challenge is  embossing. I love  my  swiss  dot folder and use it more than any of the others.

Dolphins

Surprise its only half way through the  month and I've already done the monthly  challenge at Imagine That!  I never get it done this early!.  I also used the sketch from Sketch Saturday.  I'm a little  tired of the bright  summer colors  so I  chose to do this one  a little darker.  Creative Inspirations  challenge is  Under the Sea.  These  playful dolphins certainly live under the sea  and  have only  popped  above it for a few  brief seconds.  Repeat Impressions has a Blue Challenge

My sister and I haven't created much together lately so today we decided to do this  bee card!  Being a bee keeper I love all things  bee!. I am using this card for the Eureka Stamps Wings Challenge.  Cupcake Inspiration has cupcakes with bugs so since  bees are bugs I am using it there as well. Craft Your Passion has  a Yellow Challenge.  Crafty Sentiments is anything goes.  Die  Cutting Divas has a  favorite Color Combination.  I do use a lot of  black and  yellow.  Fan-tastic Tuesday's Challenge is anything goes.

Life

Again I was rushed to get this done.  Seems I am always rushing to beat the last minute.  Somehow I gotta  slow  down.  This  last minute card is for the Clear It Out sketch Challenge  and the ABC Challenges Q is for Quote Challenge.  All of the material for this  card came out of my homeless  file of misfit  pieces  so I was  glad to finally have found them all a home.  Crafty Girls also has an Anything Goes challenge  so I might as well use it there as well.

Birdhouse

I bought this  cute little  bird house  in the early spring and failed to use it.  Now it seems the  perfect time to cut it since  City Crafter has a home challenge.  They didn't  say what  kind of home it needed to be. And Mark's Finest Papers Challenge is  Feathers.  This  sweet little cardinal certainly has  feathers.

The   challenge at  Die Cutting Divas is a  sketch and a die  cut.  I followed their sketch and used the die to cut my  fancy edged circle.  I am always in need of birthday cards.  Crafty Sentiments says  add a sentiment for their challenge. Beach Santa

It's  August and very hot here!  That being  said I am not  quite in the  mood for  Christmas but-- there are still a couple Christmas in July Challenges lingering around.  I don't have my Christmas materials where I can get tot hem  now because of my  limited space but I  managed to use a few of the things I had leftover from last Christmas to complete this card for the challenge at Creative Card Crew.  And since it is a  From the Heart image and their Current Sketch as well I want to use it for  their challenge.  Eureka Stamps also has an Add a Button Challenge. I added  some yellow shimmery  glitter to the moon and some  blue water  glitter to make it  sparkle to work in the Simon Says Wednesday challenge.  Repeat Impressions also has a glitter and Sparkle Challenge. Sweet and Sassy has a beach  scene challenge.

Back to School Apple

It is back to school  time real soon and I have several little friends who are headed back to school.  I want them to have these cute little cards for the first day of school. I wish them all a safe and fun  year!  Craft Your Passion has a Sweet Treats Challenge.  Seems to  me an Apple for the first day of school would be a sweet treat.

The challenge at  Cupcake Inspirations is mint, gold ,and white.  I just  had to add  a little pink to make it work for me!  I also  plan to  enter this  card in the Curtain Call bowtie/ anything goes  challenge and of course  I  will use it in  the  MilkCoffee Challenges 2 or  more Die cuts challenge

Lion with Banners

The  challenge at Meljen this week is monochrome and so is Creatalicious Challenges.  This little Lion was a freebie on facebook  if you used him that week.  I thought he would fit right in the Monochrome challenge as well as the mini- facebook challenge.  And  since my favorite color is  Yellow I will also use him in the Dream Valley Favorite Color  Challenge. Tuesday Throw's Challenge is also  Yellow and Creative Fingers and Treasured Times Rubber Stamps  has an Anything Goes Challenge.  Brown Sugar Challenges has an Add a  Banner Challenge.  This  cute little lion reminds me of the Lion King movie so  I  will also use him in the Fab n' Funky Challenge.

Back to School Mouse

There are  several back to school challenges this month.  I remember the days  when I dreaded for  summer to end for my  children but  since they are all grown it  seems not to even matter. Summer  just blends  right into Fall.  I used this sketch from probably a year ago to make this  cute little card for a friends son who  starts back to school on Monday.

Butterflies

Meljen Design's  Challenge this week is Colorful Cardstock.  I bought this  butterfly  cardstock at the  beginning of  summer and hadn't gotten around to using it.  It certainly  should be  colorful enough for this  great challenge.  Wednesday's Inspiration challenge is Summertime so I will  also enter these  happy Summer butterflies in that challenge as well. Creative Fingers and  Love to Create both have  Anything Goes challenge so I might as well enter this there  too.  The challenge at  Glitter N Sparkle is to add some  glitter and sparkle so it  will work there since I added the  glitter to the butterfly  swooshes and jewels to the  flowers.

Boy with Lady Bugs

These colors are  a little different for me.  Orange isn't a color I use a lot of except  at Halloween of course. But the  color challenge at Brown Sugar Challenges were Orange, Yellow, Blue and Brown. So I put them together and came up with this.  This  cute little guy and his  ladybugs  have been  laying on my desk for weeks looking for  a home.  I used the  sketch from Sketch Saturday. And since I decided to use  polka dot paper and also embossed the  yellow with  swiss dots  I will enter it in the Chocolate Coffee Cards challenge as well.

Strawberry towels

I don't usually post this  sort of this  but since this is  something I just finished a few days ago before I saw the challenge at 2 Creative Chicks I thought I might as well post  it.  I made  4  towels like this and place mats to match as well with my  embroidery machine.  I really enjoy  using it and  have really used it a lot in the last few months.

Birthday Card

I haven't been to the Cards TV site in along while.  But today I was looking for ideas  for something to make and I happened to run across the site again.  While there I noticed their challenge this month was a  feminine birthday card.  I have several female birthdays this month so I made this card for them and since it  fits in the  challenge ( You had to use 3 designer papers. I used polka dots, a plaid and a flowered print) I thought I  might as well  enter  it.  It would be  great to win!

Little girl swinging

A few  days ago I saw this  cute little girl  swinging from the tree and wanted to put her together.  Instead I ended  up using this card base for  a boy  card.  It had a group of boys playing on it and one swinging from a rope in the tree.  Finally today  I made the original  card that I had  planned.  I will use it for the challenge at My Craft Spot.
