Great Crested Fly Catcher

In my back yard by the pool I have a  bird  box with a great crested flycatcher  nest.  We haven't seen the babies yet but  the parent birds are diligently feeding them.  These birds return every summer to that box so  we have been watching them for a while.  I colored this little guy similar to  the flycatcher.  I  used the sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches and the Challenge at Dies R Us is Birds.  Brown Sugar Challenges has an In the Garden Challenge.

  1. Isn't it fun to watch birds hatch and grow? We had robins in our playground one year.
