piano

I'd been wanting to make this for a while and  just  finally  decided now was the time.  I love musical things.  Piano is my favorite.  I'm making this for a friend who teaches piano.  The Crafting Café has a Black and White Challenge. Die Cuttin Divas and Artistic Inspirations both have an Anything Goes Challenge.  3 Girl Jam  has an Anything with Ribbon Goes Challenge.

Apple trio

I love these  simple trio cards.  There have been several in the silhouette store.  I have cut  a bunch of them but  still a few to go.  I am using this one for the City Crafter Challenge.  Word Art Wednesday as their usual anything  goes challenge.  Paper Creators Challenges also has an Anything goes challenge.

Purple

Just one more  quick card for the Tuesday Morning Sketch.  This  started out as an anniversary card  but somehow I lost  the idea in my head.  Creative Card Crew has a CAS Challenge.  Suzy Bee's Blooming Challenges is Anything Goes with two colors.  Cuddlebug Mania  has  a Sentimental Challenge.  I used my  cuddlebug to cut  the scallop and the hearts.

Richard and Judy

Richard and Judy are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary next month.  Since the challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas was  wedding or Anniversary I decided to get a head start on their card.  Papertake Weekly has a trio-tastic challenge.  Because of the  fold it is hard to see but I did use three  gold hearts on this project.  Inspiration Destination has an Anything Goes Challenge,

Patriotic Edward

I decided today I dig out my 4th of July stamps and work on  those for a while.  When I came across Edward I was actually looking for  something else that I never did  find. Oh well I'll look again later.

Snow Flakes

This is my take of the Little Tangles sketch.  It has been so hot here lately I thought  making  a snowflake card would maybe  help trick my mind into thinking it was  cooler outside.  I must  say it  didn't work too well.  Crafting By Design and Fab N Funky both have Christmas Challenges.

Rainy Day Fun

At the last minute I've decided to tackle the Your Next Stamp Challenge.  It was   a little more  difficult than what I normally would do.  The  hardest thing was  finding  three small images that went together.  Anyway this is what I came up with.

Beautiful Things

While on vacation I took several pre  cut  cards sets with me to work on. I got NONE of them none. So now I'm working on them when I just have a short period of time to work on something.  This  elegant butterfly  will work  well in  the Cute Card Thursday  Add a  Quote Challenge.  Jo's Scrap Shack has a friendship Challenge. One Crazy Stamper, Penny's Paper Creations and Word Art Wednesday all have an Anything Goes Challenge.

Flip Flops

This bright  yellow  flip  flop fits nicely in the Curtain Call flip flop challenge. Through the Craft Room Door has an Anything Goes Challenge.  Flip Flops are a sure sign  Summer has arrived. Fan-tastic Tuesday has a Touch of  Summer challenge.  Through the Purple Haze has a Bright Colors challenge.

Sunset

I wish I were sitting on the beach some place  watching the sunset behind these  palms.  So peaceful and serene.  The  challenge at Cuttlebug Mania is  the Sun.  613 Avenue Create's Challenge is Summertime.  I think this is perfect for Summertime.  A  Gem of a  Challenge also  has a Summertime  Challenge.

Nuts about You

One more  guy card!  I saw this and thought how cute it was.  It is too late for father's Day but I will send it to some of my handy guy friends later.  Tuesday Throw Down has a Mr handy Man  challenge this week.  Glitter N Sparkle has a One for the Boys Challenge.  I did not add glitter but I did use my grey shimmer  pen to make the wrench a little shimmery.  I used  the  colors inspired by Cupcake Inspirations and their men theme  to complete this card.  Craft On Your Passion and Crafting From the Heart are both Anything Goes Challenges.  {Pin}spirational Challenges has a Men,Fathers Challenge

Smelling the Daisies

I made this card using the sketch from Sketch Saturday.  I  love to use their  sketches and  they have  given me some really  nice ideas.  Sugar Pea Designs has a color Challenge and it set the colors for this  sweet image.  Crafting By Design and In the Pink both have Summertime Challenges.  Fab and Funky has a Gorgeous Girls challenge. 

4th of July cascade

My sister and I have been working on this stunning 4th of July card for a couple days.  It has a lot of pieces  and took  quite some time to put together.  You cant see the sides in this picture but it is decorated down both sides and the back. The   "fireworks" are cut from a  metallic paper so I want to use this in the Clear it Out Red,  white, and Blue with metal  challenge.  Cut it Up  Challenges is  Stars and stripes.  Sparkle N Sprinkle has an anything goes challenge.  All of the white stars were coated with white  glitter to add a  bit more sparkle to this card

Sail Away

Both the  sketch and the image for this striking card  came can be found at From the Heart Stamps. This Sketch is the sketch of the month for I{heart} sketches.  Wednesday's Inspiration has a male Creations Challenge.  My  new favorite product is the  Wink of Stella Shimmer  pens.  they had  just a hint of  shimmer to the card.  The challenge at Simon Says Wednesday is your favorite product or technique.  Word Art Wednesday and  Crafty Sentiments both have Anything Goes Challenges.

Butterfly tag

I cut this  elegant butterfly  tag and it was so perfect. I wasn't real sure what  I wanted to do with it. But  when I saw the sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches I knew I would be using it there.  I wasn't sure what to add to the  card so I just left it plain. Inspiration Destination has an Anything Goes Challenge.

Birch trees

I bought these dies  along time  ago to make this card and  somehow they just got  shoved to the  side and forgotten.  I saw the  challenge at Pile It On and decided now was the time to dig them out.  I love the look of these trees and the textured paper I used gave it a more realistic look.  Brown Sugar Challenges has a Monochromatic Challenge.  3 Girl Jam  has an Anything Goes Challenge.

Ice Cream

I needed a quick Birthday Card this am and decided to use the color scheme at Cup Cake Inspirations. This friend really  likes strawberry ice cream so seemed the perfect match.  Nothing  says  summertime like an ice cream cone. The challenge at Inky Impressions is Summertime.  Fan-tastic Tuesday's Challenge is anything with a frame.  This  super sweet ice cream is framed by the embossed stars and swirls

Eagles

I bought this stamp several months ago at the Stamp Convention here in town.  I'm not real sure who it is from but I really like it  a lot.  I had forgotten I had  it but when I saw the sketch at Sketch Saturday I knew I was  going to use it. 613 Avenue Create also has an Anything Goes Challenge with a twist to use your flag colors. Crazy Hazelnut Patterned Paper Challenge is always  anything with patterned paper.  Crafty Gals has a red white and blue challenge.  Dies R Us Challenges  has a Flags or Banners Challenge.  Marker Pop has a 4th of July Challenge.

Butterfly Trio

I simply love these trio cards  found in the Silhouette Online Store. I knew when I saw them they had so much  potential.  The store did  not have a Butterfly  trio so I started working on making my own.  It has a couple imperfections that I can fix but I love the  clean fresh lines of these cards.  This one will fit  perfectly in the CAS on Sunday Color Challenge.  Addicted to CAS also has a Butterfly Challenge  which is why I chose to use the butterfly in this trio.  Penny's Paper Challenge and Paper Creators Crafts both have Anything Goes Challenges.  Wags and Whiskers Challenges has a CAS challenge.

Fishing Lure

Wow  this really  took some time to cut  color and put together.  I decided  up front to cut it all in white and color each piece.  Then I couldn't decide what to do with the background because of all the color so I left that  white and  just added a sentiment.  Sugar Pea Designs and Suzy Bee's Bloomin Challenges has a Masculine Challenge this week.  Die Cutting Divas  and Loves Rubber Stamps both have a Masculine challenge.

Pink Hearts

Just add Ink has a Color Challenge this week.  The  colors are navy  Pink and Gold.  This turned out looking much better than I anticipated.  Chocolate Coffee and Cards has a Pearls Challenge.  I added two pink pearls at the bottom to complete this look.  Glitter N Sparkle  has a  Die Cut  Challenge.  Through the Craft Room Door, Craft Your Passion and Crafting from the Heart always has an Anything Goes Challenge.  City Crafter has  a Gold Die Cuts Challenge.  Crafty Creations has an Embossing Challenge.  Papertake Weekly has an Oh  so Pretty Challenge.

The  challenge at Crafting By Designs is a sketch and Simon Wednesday is a friend or superhero.  Penny's Paper Challenge  is embellishments.  I use a lot of  jewels in  various sizes and colors.

I needed a  fun whimsical birthday card for a little boy this week.  I know he  will be getting a new puppy for his birthday so I thought this would be perfect.  Tuesday  Throw Down's Challenge is Frame It.  Seize the Birthday's Challenge is Animals.  Creative Inspiration's Challenge is Buttons and Bows.   Craft Your Passion is always Anything Goes.

Graduation Tag

Once again my camera is not cooperating.  Sorry for the  unclear images but I'll replace the camera  soon.  I realized I need  one more graduation tag today.  So I used the  Grad  Cap Trio and made  a  simple tag in the school colors.  I  think it turned out great and   just in time for the City Crafter tag  Challenge.  While I'm posting I might as well squeeze it into the  CASology graduation challenge too.

Schools Out candy Box

There is a teacher/graduation challenge at SVG cutting files.  I really wanted to enter this so I made  this candy box and filled it  with M&M's to give to  a teacher friend of mine.  The paper printed much smaller than I anticipated but it  has  tiny yellow buses and  school houses on it. Its  still cute and she will like it.

hedgehog

Obviously my camera is  playing games again.  I've tried to fix this 3 times and still its not clear.  Maybe  time for a new one!   Anyway this sketch  can be found at I{Heart} Sketches. I also want to use it in the monthly From the Heart Challenge.  Really Reasonable Ribbon has a masculine challenge I am going to use this for. Some of  my stripes are ribbon rather than washi tape.  usually  I use a Little Miss Muffet image when  enter their challenge but this one seems to want to go there.  You can't see it very well but there is white stitching around the image.  Artistic Inspiration has an Anything Goes with a  twist of layers  challenge.

The Challenge at Die Cutting Divas is Aquariums because it is  National Aquarium Month.  This card in a  little plainer than  my original plan but sometimes things  just don't work out. Clear It Out and A  Gem of a Challenge both have a  blue challenge.

There  are still several Father's Day Challenges I  haven't entered yet. I made this for the Whimsie Doodle Challenge but was too late to post it. Great Crested Fly Catcher

In my back yard by the pool I have a  bird  box with a great crested flycatcher  nest.  We haven't seen the babies yet but  the parent birds are diligently feeding them.  These birds return every summer to that box so  we have been watching them for a while.  I colored this little guy similar to  the flycatcher.  I  used the sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches and the Challenge at Dies R Us is Birds.  Brown Sugar Challenges has an In the Garden Challenge.

Sprinkles

I've been working all day on this one card!  Seems like there were too many distractions today, but finally it is  done  just in time to slide into the Cupcake Inspirations Glitter Challenge.  My desk is a  glittery mess so  I need some time to get it cleaned up before I start something else.  Glitter  n Sparkle has an Anything Goes Challenge.  Fantastic Tuesday's Challenge is anything with Bling!  I consider glitter  as bling!  Word Art Wednesday's Challenge is Anything Goes as well.

Sarah and Perry

My sister and her husband have an anniversary coming up on Sunday.  I hope this card gets to them in time but if not she will probably see it here anyway. I used the sketch at Jo's Scrap Shack.  The image is from Catch the Bug and is  one of my Sister's favorites.  Catch the Bug has an Anything Goes Challenge.  Inky Impressions has a Something's in the Air challenge.  We  can hope this  balloon is big enough to float this Elephant up, up and away!

Brittany's Plaque

Both my Son and My  Daughter  bought these plaques at Bed bath and Beyond.  They are  made from Bamboo and should be used as  cutting  boards.  They decided to put their wedding dates and their  initial on them and  just use them as  decorations.  I used my silhouette to cut  the  vinyl letters. Then put a  clear polyurethane gloss over it to make it  stay permanently. I really like how they turned out! The Paper Shelter has an Anything But a Card challenge.  I usually try to use their  images but this time I'm using something different.

Hygranga

I used the  sketch from Sketch Saturday to create this  stunning  card.  I   will be sending it to my best friend who has been feeling a bit down lately.  613 Avenue Create has  an anything goes with a twist  to send to a bff.  Simon Says Monday's Challenge is Plants.  As You Like It has a favorite flower challenge.  I  really love my hygranga when it  blooms most of the  summer.  I have probably 20 plants in various colors.

ladybug Eating Watermelon

This  cute little lady bug is surely  enjoying her watermelon. I used  the image from Image That and the Sketch from  Your Next Stamp.  It was  my intention to use their  color scheme too  but I sorta  got sidetracked.  ABC Challenges  has a  K is for Kritters  challenge.  Marker Pop and Inspiration Destination both have anything goes challenges.

Beach

I just returned from a vacation at the beach.  Before I left I cut the pieces for this sweet card and put it together while I was there.  It fits sweetly in the Chocolate, Coffee and Cards Summer Fun Challenge.  Crafty Gals Corner has an Outdoors Challenge.  Crafting When We Can has a paper Piecing Challenge. Cute Card Thursday has a Seaside Challenge.

Strawberry Trio

I  just love these simple trio cards.  They are too cute and go together so quickly!  There are several designs in the Silhouette Online Store.  I am sure you  will see them all real soon. I haven't had much playtime lately. But I did manage to put  this together. Early Christmas

This will not be one of my  favorite Christmas cards this year unless I work on it and make it a bit more festive.  I just made it to enter into the Crafting By Design Challenge.  I'm just not real happy with how it turned out.

The Florist

As usual I am still trying to catch up!  This  little  jewel is  from Paper Shelter.  They have a flower challenge.  So often instead of  coloring their images I  just print them  colored because of the intricate details.  I used the sketch from Just Add Ink.  Inky Impressions has a  ribbon or lace. challenge.  Brown  Sugar Challenges has a flowers and ribbon challenge. A  Gem of a Challenge also  has flowers as their challenge.

Life, Liberty

Really Reasonable Ribbon has a red white and blue challenge going on.  This is another set I had  ready to be put together  on my vacation.  The picture is a little blurred and I'm not real sure why but after I post  this I will try and retake it.  This  ribbon I found at  a local store called Tuesday Mornings. It has several patriotic saying on it.  I just cut the one I wanted.

This  is  yet  another one I had ready for  my vacation and never got around to finishing.  I added the sequins at the last minute so I could use it in the City Crafter Sequin Challenge.  Crafty Calendar Challenges  has a  Things with Wings Challenge.  Crafty Gals has a Cute  Critter Challenge.

I'm still in vacation mode.  I should be  doing laundry and tiding up  but I just  haven't been in the mood for those things. I decided to spend the afternoon catching up on all the cards I  didn't make last week.  This one is for the Loves Rubber Stamps beverage challenge.
