Joy Penguin

The challenge at  Catch the Bug is Penguins.  I missed making cards with their images so I decided to go ahead and give it a try.  It didn't turn out exactly as I planned but its still cute.  The  penguin is pooped out to give the card some dimension. Di's Digi Designs has a Christmas Challenge.  Tuesday Throw Down, Crafty Creations,Inspiration Destination,and Hiding in My Craft Room  has an Anything Goes Challenge.  Great Impressions has an Anything Goes Challenge as well.  I do not have any of their stamps but will soon  buy some.

Peppermints

I'm still in Christmas mode since I had No time to make Christmas cards  this year.  net year I will be better  prepared.  Brown Sugar Challenges has A Christmas Challenge left over.  Connie Can Crop has a Candy Cane  Challenge.  This card doesn't have  candy canes but  does  have peppermints which is basically the same idea. Snowman

Today at Give a Crafter a Cookie I saw their snowman challenge. So I knew right away what I wanted to do. I just love this little guy!  A new  Challenge site I saw is Classy Cards N'Such.  Their Challenge is Let it Snow. Cupcake Inspirations Challenge is also  Snowmen  and the colors Poppy White and Sky.  I used  sky blue for the scarf and  mitten and the Poppy for the  heart rather than a true  red. Simon Says Monday has a Winter Challenge.  Tuesday Morning Sketches has an Anything Goes Challenge this time instead of a sketch.  2 Crafty Girls has a Winter Blues Challenge.

Cardinal

I  today I am just not in the cleaning mode.  So I decided to make a couple quick cards that were left over from Christmas.  This one  works well in the Simon Says Wednesday Make it Sparkle Challenge.  The gems on this card  are very small but they do add a big sparkle to this card. Crafting By Designs has a Here  Comes the Holidays Challenge.  One Crazy Stamper and Digitally Sweet Challenges both have a  Christmas/Winter Challenge.  Crafty Time Challenges has an Anything Goes Challenge.

Gift Stacking Teddy

It has been a long while since I made a post.  Thanksgiving and then Christmas just came way to  quickly.  But now is the time to get started.  This is the digi of the month at From The Heart.  I also used the Sketch from I {heart} Sketches. Paper Take Weekly has a Use your favorite challenge. This will be their last challenge and it is a sad farewell.  Through the Craft Room Door has an Anything Goes Challenge.  Brown Sugar Challenges has a  Christmas  Challenge  still running.  3 Girl Jam has a colors of the Season with a ribbon challenge.  Crazy Hazels Patterned  Paper of course has their normal patterned  paper  challenge.  Di's Digi Challenges has an Anything Christmas Goes Challenge.

Snowy Deer

The  silhouette store has  some really amazing  silhouette images.  This one with the deer is one of my  favorites.  City Crafter has a snowy image as  their photo inspiration this week.  Fan-Tastic Tuesday has a Winter scene  challenge.

Digitally Sweet Challenges has an "ALL about the Title"  Challenge.  I think the title on this card  says just the right thing with these charming trees. Crafty Gals  has a  Anything Goes challenge. Crafting By Designs has a  Christmas Challenge.  Aud Sentiments has an Anything with a Sentiment Goes Challenge.

Shopping

I won this sweet image a few weeks ago and  left it on  my desk so I would use it.  I saw the challenge at Tuesday Throwdown and immediately knew it had found its place for today.  I used  the sketch  from Sketch Saturday.  Penny's Paper Craft  has a Use something from your stash challenge.  This image has been sitting here for a few weeks waiting for me to get to it. Light Bulbs

This  card is a little different than  what I usually think of at Christmas.  Black is not a  color that even crosses my mind at Christmas but these  Light Bulbs really pop out against the dark background.  Papertake Weekly has a Take Your Pick challenge.  I chose  to use the color Challenge and the glitter it up technique. Its hard to see but the green bulbs are  glittered and the red one are of foil.  Crafty Sentiments has a Christmas Decoration Challenge.  Through the Craft Room Door has an Anything Goes Challenge ending real  soon.

Kate

My friend, Kate has a birthday in a few days.  Also next month she will graduate from Ga Southern with a degree in music. Congratulations Kate!   So I thought this  simple trio  card would be perfect for her.  I wasn't sure about the colors but  Kate is a very Girlie girl so I knew it needed to be pink. Then a saw the color challenge at Cupcake Inspirations and knew that would work.  The butter soft glittery paper doesn't shine as much in this picture as I had hoped but it really  does  give this card a classy look. Glitter n' Sparkle has a Die cut or punch Challenge.  Pile it on has a Any Holiday or Celebration Challenge.  Since I am celebrating Kate's Birthday and her graduation  I think this should fit right in.  There are several  Anything goes Challenges this will fit into also.  Crafty Gals has a Use Scraps Challenge.  I always love it when I can  use  several pieces of my scrap collection.

I found myself in need of a  baby  shower card.  I really like the trio cards and thought this  one would work nicely.  It also fits in the Give A Crafter a Cookie  challenge this week. Crafty Sentiments and Through the Craft Room Door both have an Anything Goes Challenge.

Fall pop Dot Card

it is not often that I  make a card with no patterned  paper.   I know I have  tons of papers and like to use them whenever I can.  I did however make this  sweet card with pattern  papers for the  Brown Sugar Challenge.  Crafting from the Heart and Craft On  Your Passion each have Anything Goes Challenges.

I'm up against the clock once again trying to get this posted in time for  the Simon Says Monday Challenge.  I saw this card in the Silhouette store last year but never  got around to cutting it.  This  year I was determined to get it done.  One thing off my ever growing list of things to do. Silver Snowflake

I've used this snowflake a  couple times already this year.  It  cut so well on my  silhouette and I  just like how elegant it looks.  This sketch came from Jo's Scrap Shack.  It isn't  exactly her sketch but its  close enough to get the idea.  I stamped my sentiment on the angle but I used a  baby blue pad and its  kind of hard to see. Fab and  Funky has a CAS challenge.  Inspiration Destination  and Word Art Wednesday both have their usual Anything Goes Challenges.

Give Thanks

This  little guy is  from KadoodleBug Designs.  It is always a challenge for me to put these together.  By the time I 'm done  I have  glue everywhere.  I  still think  my eyes  need s  some work but he looks  pretty  cute anyway. KadoodleBug Designs has an Turkey/Thanksgiving Challenge.  I  turned this into a card instead of  putting him on a card.  Wags N Whiskers has a No Squares Challenge.  Marker Pop also has a  no Square Challenge.  Since I  cut  the small pieces of this in white and  used my markers to color them I cant see why this wouldn't work there too.  Crafty Girls has a Thankful challenge.

Ava's Turkey

This  sketch came  from Sketch Saturday.  I used a  Catch The  Bug image for the Cute Card Thursday Food and Drink Challenge.  Through the Craft Room Door has an Anything Goes Challenge.

Snowflake

I  fell in love with this  delicate  snowflake when I saw it.  My sister  cut it first and it was  just so pretty I had to use it.  My card is very similar to hers but I used different colors and added a few  silver  gems.  I love the contrast between the  sparkly blue paper and the plaid. Suzy Bee's Bloomin Challenges has a Blue and White Theme.  Craftin Desert Divas has a  Make it  Sparkle Challenge. Crafting By Design has an Anything Goes Challenge.

Fairy Garden

I needed a  tag for a friend's birthday.  The theme for her  party is fairies so I decided this tag would be perfect.  I  made it with lots of  pink so it would also work for the In the Pink  magical challenge.  Brown Sugar Challenges and CAS  on Sunday  both have a Tag challenge.  Crafting When We Can has a Pink and Lime Challenge. 3 Girl Jam has an Anything Goes/with Ribbon.  Artistic Inspiration has a Feminine Challenge.

Cute Reindeer

There are  several Christmas Challenges I'm working on today.  We've got  another dreary wet day so I'm  hoping some Christmas Cheer might brighten  my day. ABC Christmas has a V is for Very Cute Challenge. Paper Shelter has a  Layer on Layer Challenge ending soon.  PaperTake Weekly and A Gem of a Challenge both have a  Christmas Critter Challenge.  Crafty Calendar Challenges has a Sparkle  Bling and Embellish  challenge.

Filagree Pumpkins

I was  afraid these  pumpkins might not  cut since they were so delicate but much to my delight they cut perfectly. I want to use them in the Cards TV  Pumpkin Challenge.  I  enjoy doing their challenges but often forget them.  Crafty Gals has an Autumn Challenge.  Wags N' Whiskers has a No Squares challenge. 613 Avenue Create, Craft Your Passion and Crafting From the Heart  all have Anything goes Challenges.

Red Candle Jar

I took a little different direction with  some challenges this time.  I  used my  silhouette and cut this pattern to fit this jar  then used etching crème to put the design on the jar.  I love how it turned out. so Even though it is not a card I  hope to use it in several challenges. City Crafter has a Christmas Challenge closing very soon. Wednesday's Inspiration has a  Sparkle Challenge.  This  scene is very sparkly on the red  background.  Glitter N' Sparkle has a  use some red  Challenge.  This is definitely red.

Craft Creations has a Colorful challenge.  I think this  guy is  quite colorful.  ABC Challenges has an Unlimited Challenge.  I  took that too mean almost the same as  Anything Goes.

Pop Dot Turkey

Its  been a  cold dreary day and I decided to do a  little crafting and see how  much of my  challenge  list I can get done.  I made this set of  turkey cards.  the  first one was all wrong and I had to start over but I finally saw what the problem was.  Paper Take Weekly,  Inspiration Destination and Word Art Wednesday all have an Anything Goes Challenge  about to close.  Fab and Funky has a  Die Cuts and Punches  Challenge.  Simon Says Wednesday has a Thanksgiving Challenge.

halloween Rocker

Papertake Weekly has an All About the base challenge.  I had been wanting to make this before Halloween but  time just  didn't allow me to get to it until today. I want to use it in the Paper take challenge.  Crafty Time Challenges also has a Shaped card challenge.  Cup Cake Challenges has a Black and Orange Stars Challenge as  their  photo inspiration.  Hiding in My Craftroom has an Any Holiday  challenge.

Deer in Forest

I have several deer hunters as  friends. I hope one will enjoy this  card.  City Crafter has an Into the Wood Challenge.  This is  a different take than most but I have been wanting to use this  for a while.  Inky Impressions has a Kraft Paper Challenge.

Morning Coffee

Pinspirational Challenges has a  Coffee Challenge  this week.  I do not  drink coffee  so had decided to skip this challenge until I saw the coffee cup trio.  I love these  trio cards.  They  are easy to put together and look really good when they are done.  I snapped the  picture before I added  my sentiment. It says "The  first Cup is on Me!"  We are  going to travel with friends in a  few  days so I will leave it for them to  find with a starbuxs gift card.

Simple and  girly enough  for all to understand.  This is for the Tuesday Thrown down You've got my Support Challenge this week.  Crafty Gals has a ribbons and flourish challenge also.  In the Pink always has  pink  challenge.  3  Girl jam has an Anything Goes/ribbon Challenge.

Boo!

Today was a white on white kind of day  for me.  I just love this little ghost. He's just too cute.  I used a new embossing  folder I just bought.  This  should work in the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge this week. Lawnscaping Challenges also has a Too Cute To Spook  Challenge.  Addicted to CAS has a Spooky Challenge.

Happy Halloween

Today I dug out my  pumpkin shaped Spellbinder and a  Happy Halloween embossing folder that I just  purchased.  I used both with my  Cuddlebug to make this cute card for the Cuddlebug Mania  Challenge this month.  Through the Purple Haze also has a Halloween Challenge I've over looked.  Pile It on has a Cute Or Spooky Challenge.  This one could go ether way!  Di's Digital Design has a Pumkin challenge.

Silhouette Kids

I needed one more  quick card for today. I've had these kids cut out for a few days and just hadn't used them yet.  I decided they were so cute I  didn't need much to go with them.  I did  use glitter on the letters to give it a more festive look. This  card is for the Sparkle and Sprinkle Anything Goes with Glitter. Paper Shelter has a trick or treat challenge.  Dies R Us has a Ghoul Friends Challenge.  613 Avenue Create has an Anything Goes Challenge.  Connie Can Crop had a Going Batty Challenge.

This sketch is one of their I {heart} sketches.  I always enjoy  doing their  sketches and it earns me a dollar credit to their  store to get more images.  Creative  Card Crew has a ribbon challenge.  Fan-tastic Tuesday has an Anything goes with Black and Orange.  Crafty Calendar Challenges has a  Halloween challenge.  Your Next Stamp has a  color challenge with a  sketch.  I chose to do the  colors rather than the sketch this time.

Pink Teddies

This  card  is way too Pink for me!   It  isn't entirely the way I Envisioned it but it sorta maybe works. Crafty Sentiments has a  Pink Challenge. I guess this  will work even if I didn't include a sentiment.  I used the sketch from Tuesday Morning  Sketches. I cut my  patches too small and that threw the whole thing off for me  but my stubborn self  says "oh no  you will not waste that  paper."   So I did! As You Like It Challenges has a Brights or Pastels Challenge.  I do a lot of both but I  do prefer Brights over Pastels. Brights are some  happier and more encouraging to me.  Give a Crafter a  Cookie Challenges has a  Photo inspiration challenge with a lot of pink!

I'm finally  getting  my Halloween cards well under way.  I was off to a slow start but I am  almost caught up.  This image is from Little Miss Muffet and  I will use it in their anything goes challenge. Scary

Today I used my new Spectrum Aqua markers.  Watercolor is really not my  thing  jsut because i havent  used it very much but decided today to give it a try for the Tuesday Throwdown Watercolor Challenge. I also used a  Halloween sentiment for the Aud Sentiments challenge.  Both Craft Your Passion and  Crafting From the Heart both have  Anything goes challenges.

I don't do alot of CAS cards because I like the layers and the textures.  But once in a while  i need  something simple. This works for me today!  It also fits right in the  Casology  You Challenge.  Wednesday 's Inspiration also has a CAS Challenge. 

Ghost Pins

I was pretty determined to get these  done today.  I actually have  3 different sets I want to do for Halloween.  Maybe tomorrow I might get  the other two sets done.  I think these  are really  cute to wear to work or just anywhere.  These  should work nicely in  the Crafty Sentiments Halloween Decorations Challenge.  613 Avenue Create has an Anything Goes Challenge.  I  cut these  out of a glittery shimmery paper to give thema  glowing effect but its  real hard to see in the picture.  Glitter and Sparkle has a Halloween Challenge.  Clear It Outs challenge is White and one other color. Well I  guess Black is my other color.

This image is the Stamp of the Month at From the Heart.  I really like using their images and try real hard to do the SOTM so i can get the next month's image.  This  sketch is from Tuesday Morning  Sketches.  Sugar Pea Designs has a  Fall Themed Challenge.  Most  harvest happen during fall.

This sketch is the weekly challenge at From the Heart or I {heart} Sketches.  i really like  doing their sketches and it gives me more oportunity to use thier delightful images as well.  Crafting By Designs and Give a Crafter a Cookie both have a  Halloween challenge. Simon Says Wednesday has a  color challenge I  followed to complete this design.

Movie Night

The Challenge at Die Cuttin Divas is Popcorn Boxes or something movie related.  I made this card and I hope it works.  I will use it to invite  a couple friends over for dinner and a movie one night real soon. Paper Take  Weekly has a  Two by Two challenge.  This card has two pop corn kernels and 2  movie strips on it. Crafty Creations has a Don't Be Blue challenge.  Hiding in My Craft Room has an Use your favorite cutting machine.  My favorite  cutting machine is definitely my  silhouette cameo.  I just  love it.

Edward's Pumpkins

This image is from BugaBoo.  Edward is one of  my favorite characters from their line.  I used him for the Stella Says Sketch Challenge.  I'm also hoping he's  old enough to be considered and Oldie but a goodie  because I want to use him in that challenge as well.  Through the  Craftroom Door has an Anything Goes Challenge.  Fantastic Tuesday has an Anything Goes with an Autumn Colors Twist.
