Sunflowers

I've spent  most of my day in the craft room today!  it is good to have a few of those  days now and then. I used the sketch at Sketch Saturday for these bright  sunflowers.  This image came from Little Miss Muffet and  should  work well in  their Anything Goes  Challenge. This image is  among  my favorites.  I use them often just to brighten someone's day. Digitally Sweet Challenges has a Green and White plus one other color challenge. I obviously used  Yellow as my other  color. I also  used my  Wink of Stella Shimmer  pens to color these bright  flowers so I could use them in the Simons Wednesday Challenge.   Paper Creators Crafts  also has a flower Challenge.  Give A Crafter a Cookie  also has a flower challenge.  Cupcake Inspirations has a Sunflower challenge.

July 4th

Today I'm working on some July 4th Cards!  I really enjoy all the red white and blue! The  challenge at Crafty Gals is  Sparkle and Shine.  I made this  cute card and added some glitter and some  jewels to give  it plenty of  shine.  Connie Can Crop has a Patriotic Challenge.  Hiding in My Craft Room has a Any Holiday challenge.

Pool Party

Next weekend we are having a pool party.  Just a few friends gathering around to have a few drinks and eat.  It's going to be nice to  cool off in this  100 degree weather we are having.  I used the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches and tweaked it just a bit but I think you can  still get the idea.  Also I tore the bottom edge to give it a more irregular distressed look to fit in the Tuesday Throw down Distressed challenge.

Brandon

my  son, Brandon, recently got a promotion at work.  He is now a corporal in the SC Highway Patrol here in Aiken County.  I do not like his job because I worry so much about him, but he on the other  hand loves it. I am  proud of his advances in a  job he does  well and  enjoys doing.  The  challenge at CASology is Congratulations

Fishing Basket

This is one of my  favorite masculine stamps.  I used  the  sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches for this card.  it is  very simple  and should work well for a masculine card. Crafty  Calendar Challenges has a Father's Day/ For a Male Challenge. One Crazy Stamper has an Anything Goes Challenge.

Sunglasses

The  Challenge at Die Cutting Divas is  Sunglasses.  This was not my original plan for this challenge but time didn't allow me to get much more creative than this. City Crafter has a  White and Bright  Challenge.  Seems to me this bright  colored sunglasses oughta fit right in.  Penny's Paper Challenges  has an Anything Goes Challenge.

Aloha

Addicted to CAS has an Aloha Challenge.  I used  the sketch from Crafting When We Can.  ABC Challenges and Inspirations Destination both have  Anything Goes Challenges.

I love this little guy from Bug A Boo! he is just too cute. I used the sketch at Saturday Sketch for this  card.  Crafty Sentiments also has a Kids Challenge.  Craft on Your Passion and Through the Craft Room Door both  have an Anything Goes Challenge. Today I tried something  different. I bought a bottle of  shimmer  spray to try since I haven't tried it before.  I simply sprayed the back ground and then set this elegant butterfly with her  glittery wings on top. Added a quick sentiment and  I'm done  just in time for the CAS on Sunday butterfly challenge.  Sparkle N Sprinkle Crafting from the Heart and Glitter n Sparkle all  have an Anything Goes Challenge.  Dies R Us also  has a Butterfly challenge.

Beach

Today I needed something  quick before the mail came.  This is for a friend  going to the beach for the first time.  I want her to get this before she  leaves.  Also  City Crafter has a beach themed challenge this week that ends real soon.  Crafty Gals has a Summer Fun Challenge.

Yellow

Tonight I used the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches to make this bright card  for my  Friend melody  who had surgery last week.  Thought the bright  yellow might make her feel a bit better. Penny's Paper Challenge  has an Anything Goes Challenge.

Well my camera is  acting up again.  Every time I tried tog et this picture it was  fuzzy.  I will keep trying but in the mean time I need to get this posted so I don't miss the From the Heart image fof the Month Challenge.   I also used the  sketch at   I {heart} sketches.

Honey jar

Nothing  says  Summer to me better than a  fresh jar of honey.  Being a Bee keeper anything Bee catches my eye.  I made this  cute card for the Kadoodle Bug Designs Show Movement Challenge.  I put a wobble  behind the bee on the outside of the jar so that  if u shake the card he moves.  Through the Craft Room Door  and Inspiration Destination both have an Anything Goes Challenge.  Cute Card Thursday has  Bugs and butterflies challenge.  Simon Says Wednesday also has an animals challenge.

Mr Fix It

There are several father's Day  challenges out there that I  have done yet but I really  intend to do it later tonight. But in the mean time I'm using this one for the Jo's Scrap Shack.  I used the sketch at  Tuesday Morning Sketches.  Catch the Bug has a  Masculine challenge.  Glitter N Sparkle and Die Cutting Divas both have a Father's Day Challenge as well.  Hiding in My Craft Room has a  Super Scraps Challenge.  I always  love using my scraps on cards.

July 4th Invitations

For our annual 4th of July celebration Harriette and I have decided to have a  hot  dog  cook out.  We  will use these cute firecrackers for our invitations.  They are  from SVG Cutting Files and I also want to use them in the Summer Challenge.  Artistic Inspiration has an Anything Goes Challenge.  Crafty Sentiments also has a Summertime Challenge.  Connie Can Crop has a Patriotic challenge.

Snowy town

City Crafter has a City Scene challenge.  I'm sure they won't  mind if I have a  little snow in my  city. Crafty Gals  has a Pop of Color Challenge.  I used  a  blue background to give it that  pop then added a blue snowflake as well. Artistic Inspiration has an Anything Goes Challenge.

Happy Birthday Sunshine

The  Challenge at Seize the Birthday is Sunshine.  I've made this bright card  several times before  but it is one of my favorites.  613 Avenue Create has an Anything Goes Challenge.  Wednesday's Inspiration has a Spring/Summer challenge.  Paper Creator's Crafts has a Flower Challenge.

Butterfly box

I started this butterfly  box a few days ago and just now go around to finishing it. Crafty Sentiments has an Anything Goes Challenge ending real soon.  You can't see it real well in this picture but I stamped Have a Lovely day on the handle of the box. Through  the Purple Haze  has a  Punches or Dies Challenge. The original pattern only has a couple butterflies.  I used a punch and made several more to add to the box.  Craft Your Passion and Crafting From the Heart both have Anything Goes Challenges as well. FabN Funky has a Favorite color combination challenge.  I always  fall back on pink and green as my favorite combinations.

Under the Sea

I've kinda  gotten started with paper Quilling and have enjoyed doing it again.  I decided this cute fish  would fit perfectly in the Cupcake Inspirations Under the Sea Challenge.  Jade's Sparkling Butterflies has a Favorite Color / Anything Goes Challenge.  Aud Sentiments Challenges also has an Under the  Sea Challenge.

Wagon

I started this card yesterday but  had company drop by and was  unable to finish it.  It's not my usual color combination but it works I guess.  This is for the Pile it On Tic Tac  Toe Challenge. I used an image twine and a tag.  Simon Says Monday has a  Summer garden Challenge.  Inspiration Destination has an Anything Goes Challenge.

Beach

What says  summertime more than a day spent at the beach?  I made this card while I was on vacation  so my  supplies were very limited.  Its very plain but  I don't think it looks too bad.  I am using it for the Gem of a Challenge Weather challenge.  A hot  Sunny day!  Catch the  Bug has an Anything Goes challenge.

One more  quickie for tonight.  I need to get a  few Father's Day cards done.  This is the  first.  Now I need about 6 more.  Cute Card Thursday and Crafty Calendar Challenges both have a Father's day Challenge.  Tuesday Throw Down  and Craftin Desert Divas both have a masculine challenge. 

Doodles

 

I am a chronic  doodler! If I'm on the phone you can bet there is a pen in my hand and I am busy mindlessly doodling away.  Sometimes if just my name,  sometimes its flowers.  One never knows what might be drawn.  All this made the challenge at  Crafty Creations easy for me. Just Add Ink has a color challenge this  should work well in.  Addicted to CAS has a petals  challenge. Paper Shelter

Still  playing catch up today!  I used the sketch at  Sketch Saturday for the Paper  Shelter Flowers Challenge.  Also foe the In the Pink  123 challenge. I used one ribbon 2 gems and three flowers.  Casual Friday also has a floral challenge.

Christmas Kisses

For this sweet card I used the sketch from Creative Inspiration and the Theme from ABC Christmas which is Christmas Kisses!.  Cut it Up Challenges is Any Sketch from Any source.

Enchanted

I love silhouettes!  this one has been calling my name for a while but I wasn't sure what to do with it.  I decided  it needed  nothing.  It is simple and cute enough by itself.  Fab N Funky has an Enchanted Challenge. Both Craft Your passion and Crafting From the Heart have Anything Goes Challenges.

Birds on Limb

Another  quick card for tonight.  I might call it done for tonight. I'm tired and ready to read for a while.  This one is for the City Crafter feather challenge.  I embossed the background for the Cuddlebug Mania Challenge.  Little Tangles also has an Embossing challenge.

Graduation

I've  very behind with all my challenges and  even some graduation cards I need to get out.  I love this  cute  little girl from Bug a Boo.  I used the  local high school colors for  this card.  Good thing I made several because I think I have 4  to mail out. I also  plan to use this for several challenges to help me get caught up. Tuesday Throw Down has a Proud of You  challenge.  This  should fit right into  that.  I used the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.  Through the Craft Room Door, Pinspirational Challenges, Inspiration Destination and Penny's Paper Challenges all have Anything Goes Challenges.
