Happy Easter

Just a  quick card I  made for Cute Card Thursday's Use warm colors challenge.  I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday but had to turn it  to make my image work. Creative Knockouts has am in Stitches challenge. 

Val's friend

One  more for today unless I find a  little more time to be creative.  Little Miss Muffet and Brown Sugar Challenges both have an Anything Goes Challenge.  I have totally  fallen in love with this  darling elephant named Val.  I am sure you will be seeing  more of her  real soon. Snowmanand Cocoa

This sweet snowman is for the Just Add ink color inspiration challenge. I've waited all month as usual to finally do the From the Heart  challenge as well.  Paper Shelter has a  Digital Image challenge.  I usually  try to use one of their images but  time  just won't  allow me to do that today. Inspiration Destination and Word Art Wednesday both have Anything Goes Challenges.  As You Like it has a Favorite Fold and why challenge.  I like  a lot of different  folds but  the Swing card is  my go to when I need something that looks sharp and  goes together easily.

At Patty's Day

I don't have  a lot of St. Patty's Day stamps.  I guess that's  why I don't usually send cards then.  This year I am going to try and send out a few more if I can  find a few  good stamps. This one is for Marker Pop. I realize there isn't a lot of  coloring but I did  use my markers.  Inspiration Destination  Crafting From the Heart also has an Anything Goes challenge.  This is   it for  this morning  but I might be  back later this evening.

Love

Today  I'm working on the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.   I had to tweak it just a little  to fix my image but I think it might  just work anyway.  Their  sketches are usually  pretty easy to  adapt to your needs.  Creative Card Crew  still has one more  Valentine challenge.  Crafty Sentiments has a Sentimental Challenge.

Liam's Birthday

My  Grandson's Birthday is in a few weeks and thanks to the challenge at I {Heart] Sketches  I will have it ready in plenty of time.  he will be turning 2.  I am  sure he will enjoy this cute little bird brain holding the candle. Die Cutting Divas has a  kids challenge.  I used  my spellbinders to cut my squares and also the 2.  Fan-tastic Tuesday has an Anything Goes/Cute Challenge.  Fab N' Funky has a  Male Birthday Challenge.  Cards TV has a Birthday challenge as well.  I can't really  tell it from this picture but I popped the wing and  candle out to give it some dimension.

Pansies

Contrary  to popular belief Purples nor shades of purple are  my favorite color.  I do however, love lavender pansies.  I wasn't real sure where I was  going with this card and I'm not totally happy with it. I didn't have a lot of choices for  the matching papers.  Oh well,  I can't love them all.  This one  I made  for a friend who passed away  while I was  making the card.  Guess she won't be  seeing it but her family will.  I used the  sketch  at Tuesday Morning Sketches. I like their  sketches  because I  don't  always have a  clear  direction I want my cards  to go and the  sketches help. Tuesday Throw Down  has a  layer it up challenge.  Penny's Paper Challenges has an Anything Goes Challenge.

Cherry Blossom Shaker

Today I made this  sweet shaker card.  The  Cherry Blossom  season starts soon in  DC.  Every year I think maybe I'll get the chance to go.  I really like how this card  turned out.  613 Avenue Create has a shaker card challenge.  Pile  It on has a home made embellishment challenge.  I used  some small peeler beads that I melted  in the shaker along with some  sequins and seed pearls.  Simon Says Monday has a  recycle challenge.  The "cup' I used for my shaker came out of my trash can  because it was actually not made for that purpose but I made it work for this card. Simon Says Wednesday is also a shaker project.

Easter Tulips

When I  want a  single layer card I  most always use flowers.  Not  quite sure why but that always comes to mind.  The Challenge at Addicted to CAS is Bloom!  I have a few  tulips  poking their  heads thru the winter ground already so I chose this image.   Through the Craft Room Door has an Anything goes Challenge.

Cody

I saw this  cutting  file a few days ago and knew that my  friend Harriette would eventually get the  card.  It's been a long day and I was tired so wanted something fairly easy to do to waste an hour or so before bedtime.  This went together great and Harriette will be delighted to get it.  Crafting When We Can has a Heart challenge.  Hiding in My Craft Room has a Use Scraps Challenge.  Classy Cards and Such has a  coloring stitching and pattern challenge.  I'm not sure  I  totally understood the challenge  but heres my entry anyway. Bee Hive

To I was poking around outside because the weather is pretty nice.   I saw a new swarm of bees in my rose bed.  They are  apparently  quite happy living in the drain pipe.  I decided since that is where they want to be to paint them a new house.  I  took one of the  old hives that we weren't using and gave it a fresh  coat of paint.  the I decided since  they are MY bees and in my rose bed I might as well decorate their new home.  I used  this bee and flower  pattern from Kadoodle Bug.  I cut it in weather proof vinyl and put it on the side of the box.  Across the bigger  super box I used a  font  and cut out "Go Forth And Prosper" to give my  bees  added inspiration.  I also intend to use this in the Kadoodle Bug anything but a card challenge.  I hope I'm not too late.

Paper Shelter Valentine

The  challenge at Paper Shelter is one  I often don't get  done.  Today I was determined to change that. They still have a  Valentines Challenge open  so I chose this sweet  little gal.  Penny's Paper Challenges has a favorite  color or embellishment challenge closing soon.  My favorite color combination lately has been pink and lime.  it  makes this card  just so girly.  Then I used my favorite go to embellishment.  These beads are  made from Peeler beads  that were melted in the oven.  I have so many  colors and I use them a lot.  Crafty Creations has a Hearts Challenge.  In the Pink  also has a Valentines challenge. Creative Inspirations has a Hugs and Kisses Challenge.  You can bet this  little gal has a  few of each to give out.

Candy Cane Bears

This is one of my  favorite  Christmas Stamps!  These two are just too  cute.  I pooped their  little arms out to give them a bit of depth.  ABC Christmas has a  Critter challenge.   Inspiration Destination has their usual Anything Goes Challenge.

Cupid's Heart

I made this card last week and failed to post it.  Since it is  still on my  desk I also forgot to mail it. Oh well, I'll use it next year.  Pinspirational Challenges still has a Valentines Challenge open.  Crafty Girlshas have a Heart Challenge.  Cuddlebug Mania  has a kids challenge.  I used my Cuddle bug to cut the different  sized hearts.  Since  cupid is  a  fairy tale I  like to also use this in the Whimsie Doodle Fairy tale Friends challenge. since I missed the January  use  a  Hear Challenge.

St. Pat's Day Edward

Today I used the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches for this  quick card.  I love this little elephant and more and more of him  keep popping up. I am sure you will see him again soon. Snow Much Love

The weather  channel is  predicting  a 70% chance of snow for Sunday and Monday here in SC.  It is very rare that we  see any snow at all but everyone is excited.  I decided since Valentines Day might be snowy I'd use these cute snow people for the challenge at Cupcake Inspirations.  Their colors are Berry Silver and White.  I used  silver on the little "ice"  flicks mixed in the snow and silver  gems  in the center of the  snowflakes.  I used the  sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches.  Craft Rocket Challenges  has a Valentine  Challenge.  2 Crafty Girlz has an Anything Goes Challenge I've almost missed.

Tic Tac Boxes

Another  treat  for my dinner friends~  This one should work for the Die  Cutting Divas Love challenge.  I made the covers for the Tic Tac  boxes then  used a punch to put the heart in them.  Through the Craft Room  Door and  Fan-Tastic Tuesday both have an Anything Goes challenge.  Crafty Sentiments has a Dies or Punches  Challenge.

Heart Favors

Tonight  I had  dinner with a large  group of  friends.  I thought being  it was  close to Valentines I would take them each a  small favor.  I really like how dainty these  little boxes turned out.  I used random  colored pieces of twine to close them up.  I decided some of them  would fix into the Classy Cards n' Such Lilacs and  Lace Challenge since the boxes  look so lacy and are tied with a lilac colored twine.  Crafting From the  Heart and  Craft on Your Passion both have an Anything Goes challenge.

Val's Butterfly

I  just love these elephants I found at Little Miss Muffet. I am sure you will be seeing a lot of them  in the days to come.  I  used the sketch at  Sketch Saturday for this one. kadoodleBug Wheelbarrow Bear

This little  bee/bear was too cute to pass up!  She is so  cute pushing her  wheelbarrow full of heart.  I made her originally  as a magnet  for the refrigerator  but she wouldn't stick to the  stainless steel  unless I put a stick tab on her.  So instead now she lives on my chalk board in the craft room.  I'll enjoy her that much more  in her anyway.  This  will be my entry in the Kadoodle Bug anything Valentines Goes challenge.  Suzy Bee's Bloomin Challenges also has an Anything Valentines Goes challenge.  Dream Valley has a  Valentines Challenge.  There should be  plenty of hearts in this wheelbarrow to satisfy the  Dies R Us Challenges Love Challenge.

Sunshine

I needed  a  cheerful card today for a friend  who is feeling kind of down.  This  bright  little sunshine should easily do the  job.  Simon Says Monday  also has a Rays Of Sunshine Challenge. Which was another reason I wanted the bright sunshine.   Inspiration Destination and Penny's Paper Challenges has their usual  anything goes challenge.  As You Like It has a  Multi layer challenge.  I very rarely make a  single layer card. Tuesday Throw Down has a Piece it Together Challenge.

Hearts

Tuesday Morning Sketches has a Sketch  challenge each week.  I look forward to their sketches. They can be a lot of  fun.  Cute Card Thursday has a Pink Challenge.  The banner  is  actually a darker pink but it appears  more red in this  picture. Sympathy

I don't  send a  lot of  sympathy cards.  I never  quite know what I should  make.  I  saw  a card very similar to this once and have  made something similar  several times.  I needed this card today and it seemed to fit right in the Pile It  On  Challenge.  Through the Craft Room Door  and Craft Sentiments both have an Anything Goes challenge.  Through  the Purple Haze has a Wings Challenge

Sarah and Perry

I wasn't going to post this till later but I decided to go ahead and do it.  My sister's family are Alabama  Fans.  When I  saw these  cute elephants I knew  I had to send them to her.  problem is I wanted her to get this before she saw these elephants.  Maybe it  will  work out. This went in the mail today.  So she will probably get it early.  I made a  big mistake  which I tried to fix and failed but she will like it just the same.  Crafting When We Can has a celebration challenge. Christmas Bells

Fab N Funky has one last Christmas  Challenge.  I wasn't going to  enter  but decided what the heck!  It will be one  more Christmas Card I have  ahead for next year. 613 Avenue Create and Hiding in My Craft Room  both have anything goes challenges.

Hearts Trio

For Christmas I got a the new Heidi Swapp  Minc.  I love how it  can  turn my pain  paper cuts into shiny foiled  pieces of art.  This is the first time I've used it but I can see I will be using it more. This sketch is from Sugar Pea Designs. I had to tweak it a bit to make it work but it came together nicely. Addicted to CAS has a red  challenge.  Glitter N Sparkle has an embossing challenge.  Classy Cards N Such has a Love challenge.

More Roses

Another box of roses.  I just love these.  They look  so over whelming when you  open the pattern but they go together really easily.  Fan-tastic Tuesday  has an anything goes /with an add a flower  option.  Crafting by Designs also has a flower challenge.  A Gem of a Challenge has a Pink theme.  Jo's Scrap Shack also has an Anything goes challenge.

Love

I'm not real sure what happened to this picture.  Apparently the settings have been change on my camera and the zoom is  out. Oh well, I will try and  get a better picture later when I figure out what is wrong.  Until then I will use this one for the  Freshly Made Sketches Challenge.  it might be a little different than the  original sketch but my Sentiment is the center of the card and  really  stand s out.  2 Crafty Girlz and Brown Sugar Challenges both have an Anything Goes Challenge.  Cut it Up Challenges has a Love Challenge.  Word Art Wednesday also has an Anything goes challenge.
