Celebrate

I noticed several sites already  have their New Year challenges up so I cut this card  with my  silhouette.  After cutting it I wish I had  cut the design out of the  sparkly paper  but oh well there's always next time!  CASual Friday and Cut it Up as well as C.R.A.F.T  are ready to move to the New Year! Gingerbread House

I've taken some time off  from card making because I was so busy  for the Holidays.  Tonight  I noticed I only had a couple hours to get the Little Tangles Seguin challenge done.  I have been wanting to use this gingerbread house embossing folder for a while and  hadn't gotten around to it.  Tonight I did! it  didn't  turn out quite like I  had planned but  that  happens when I get rushed.  I decorated the roof with green sequins and made the candy  lollipops out of red sequins.  Candy hearts for the door and window and some plastic candy canes to finish  it off.  I will work on it some more tomorrow  but it will hafta do for  now. 

Winter is for the Birds

I'm not  quite ready to put my  Christmas card materials away  yet!  I had so much fun making my  Christmas cards but didn't get to make all that I wanted to do.  So I'm  thankful that there are a few Christmas  Challenges I can work on.  This one isn't  exactly Christmas  but  more Winter  but I like it.  I got this  digital at From the Heart.  It is the December monthly  challenge.  I'm running behind on this and  wanted to make sure I got it done. Catch the Bug's Challenge this week is favorite Christmas Song. my song is Frosty the Snowman! Tuesday Throwdown has a  What Christmas means challenge.  Snow  sorta  fits because here in the  South we dream of a white Christmas  Because we never get  snow!  Parade Your Crafts has a Christmas/Winter Challenge. Party Time Tuesday has an anything goes challenge and Repeat Impressions has a Last Minute  Card or Tag.

Happy Holidays

I had one more package to wrap when I dug this plain  blue box out of my wrapping  bin.  With a  couple strips of ribbon and  a few  snow flakes I  cut with my  silhouette I managed to change it to a rather festive box.  Then a quick Happy  Holidays then I'm done.  I thought it might fit  nicely in the  My Craftspot's Wrap it up Challenge!

Gingerbread Kids

I'm slowing down in this  Christmas  rush  to get  cards made.  I'm so caught up in other things  that I need to do I don't  have much play time so I've  quit with the challenges and am only  doing  the ones I really want to do! I have fun with them  all  but just don't have the time right now.  But I will be back after the  New Year.  This  card  is for Imagine that.   I  like their designs and want to keep up so I can  continue to get their freebie each month.  Merry Christmas!

Snowman Box

I have 17 Guests  coming for Christmas  Lunch so  I want to make these  cute little  boxes to fill with  cookies and candy for  each one to take with them.  I will use them for the Silhouette Challenges 3d Challenge, the CardzTv Christmas treat Challenge and the  Silhouette Online Shape Challenge. Craft spot also has  a Neighbor Gifts Challenge.

Catch the Bug

I'm trying hard to catch up with the Catch the Bug Holiday Chaos Challenge. This is component number  6. I've been so busy  I've had no time to get them all done.  Apparently my creativity isn't working real well today because I haven't been happy  with anything I've posted today!  Maybe I should take a break and try again later.

Ugly Sweater

The Fourth Component of the Catch the Bug Holiday Chaos  Challenge is "Ugly Sweaters".  We all have  a few of these  hanging in our closets.  I made this from a Silhouette Online design and made it into a sweater shaped card.  Then added some  bling to it.

I didn't  have much time to really put into this card today so I  chose Take A Nap ( which is more what I'd like to be doing right now)  and  Keep it  Simple.  Simple is not  what I do well. But it it s anyway!

Issie

Last week  I won a challenge at Little Miss  Muffet Stamps.  I use a lot of her digitals.  At that time I was asked if I  would be interested in being a  guest designer for December.  Of course I was honored to be asked and had to say  YES!  Here is  the card I came up with.  I love  this little image of Issie.  I used the Sketch Saturday challenge as a starting place for my card.

Blue Snowman

I was a little  rushed to get my What if Wednesday sketch done!  I found this  cute snowman head on my desk and had wondered where to place him.  When I saw the sketch I knew I had  found him a  home.  Then  coincidentally He  will fit in my GlitternSparkle Blue Challenge.  I will also use  him in the Catch the Bug Holiday Chaos as the 7th Component which is anything goes.

Bears Christmas Tree

As part of the Catch the  Bug Holiday Chaos Challenge I am  using this  card as  the  fifth component . My favorite  Holiday Treat is Fruit cake  so what better choice than that?  I also intend to use it for the QKRstampede red/white and green challenge, The  CASual Friday Out on a  Lib Challenge, Creative Cutting Christmas Card Challenge, because I used  my silhouette to  print and cut the image and  to layer my  tree although it is hard to see in this  picture and Repeat Impressions Christmas Tree Challenge and Clear it Out's anything goes Challenge.

Silver Snowflake Card

The  challenge at Craftspot this week is Sparkle and Shine.  I really like this  snow flake swing card.  I used a paper with  metallic sparkles on it and it looks really good.  I  plan to  also enter it in the 2 Creative Chicks  Christmas Challenge, the C.r.a.f.t challenges Christmas Challenge, and  the Clear it Out anything  Goes Challenge. Gingerbread Men

The  Sketch Saturday  design this week was real easy  so I chose to  use this dancing  Gingerbread men. Sometimes  simple says  just enough!

Blue Goose

I 've  had this  goose  laying on my  desk for a while.  I  printed her  bigger than I really wanted  but thought I'd eventually  find a place to use her.  I really hate  throwing things away after  I go to the trouble to print them. Today  she found her home in  the I {heart} Sketches Challenge.  I  had to modify the sketch  just a bit because she was so big but I think  it will work. 

Cocoa Bear

Sorry folks but my camera  has a mind of its own.  My pictures are coming out as well as I would like  them to.  I will work on that later and see if I can fix it.  But in the mean  time I needed to complete the challenge for C.r.a.f.t Challenges.  I love this  little  bear and his  cocoa. I wasn't  quite sure how to get the metal involved but  decided to  just hang the  charm that and make it work~.

Harvest Snowman

This week's challenge at Meljen Design is Giving Thanks.  I wasn't  quite sure what to do but  saw this  cute back ground in the silhouette store and decided to give it a try.  I loved this Harvest Snowman from Meljen but  never used him during Thanksgiving  so now was my chance.  Cut it Up also has a Giving Thanks Challenge.  Parade Your Crafts also slipped in one more Thanksgiving Challenge

santa topper rocker

For the Craft Spot 's  challenge this  week is a Santa Card.  This  was  originally meant to be atreat bag topper but I modified him a bit and made a rocker card  out of him.
Tomorrow when I  finish the rest of  them I will texture his  beard and mustache.  I will also use this in the Crafty Catz Here Comes  Santa Challenge.

This  cute little  snow man was meant to be a treat bag topper but I thought he looked  cute as rocker card  instead.  I will be entering him in the Clear it Out anything with Snow goes and the 2 Creative Chicks Winter Challenge.

Deacon Elf

Catch the  Bug is  doing a  daily challenge.  Today's was a  sketch so I used this cute little elf.  I will also used for the QKR stampede Christmas Challenge and the Creative Cutting  Christmas Card Challenge, the 2 Creative Chicks Christmas Challenge and  The  Party Time Tuesday anything goes Challenge.

Christmas Tree Tags

I needed some  Tags for some  already purchased  gifts so I made  10 of these Christmas tress tags.  they  really are easy.  I will use them for the Catch the Bug's Holiday Chaos Celebration Day  2

Balloon Ride

The monthly challenge at From the Heart Stamps was Balloon Ride.  I wasn't sure what to do with it so I waited til the last min.  I decided to combine it with the Stella Says Sketch challenge.  It turned out pretty well I think. Get Inky Designs challenge is Upward and Onward so I am entering this there as well.

Gingerbread Girl Tags

The  challenge at Silhouette Online Store is  modified Shapes.  I designed this  neat little  Gingebread girl gift tag for the ever growing  pile of  gifts for Christmas.  I will also include this  in the Eureka Stamps Christmas Challenge.

3 more Days

This poor little  turkey is counting  the days  til Thanksgiving! He fits  perfectly in the Cut It Up countdown challenge.  I used my  silhouette to  cut out the easel card, the scalloped frame and to print and cut the  turkey.

Tubing

This little  Tomboy loves her  tubing and so do I!  She is just adorable.  She is from Little Miss  Muffett.  I needed to do my  What if Wednesday Sketch Challenge and the Party Time Tuesday Challenge so I could be  caught up  this week.  I combined both of them and thought that card was  quite cute.

Sledding 2

The challenge at Little Miss  Muffett is a White out!   All white background but a colored image.  I textured the top background with a  faint  snow fall. The  textured the bottom with a heavier snow fall.  I thought it was perfect for this  little guy to go sledding!  I used the  sketch from craftspot as  my  design.  GlitternSparkles Challenges is also Snow.  Inkspirational has an anything goes  Challenge this week and IncyWincy Designs challenges is One for the Men!  C.r.a.f.t. Challenges also has a snowy picture as  their  challenge inspiration this week.

Claudia Sketch

I missed  I heart Sketches last week so I had to make sure I made it this week.  I had an extra Claudia on my desk so I decided she was a  perfect  fit for this card. 

Snowbirds

The  challenge this week at Tuesday Throw down is Snowbirds!  I absolutely Love this little  penguin sipping on his  cocoa.  I've  used  him in so many  things already but I am surely not finished with him yet. 

Grateful Harvest

I saw this  card in the Silhouette Online Store and decided to use it for the following Challenges.  It isn't quite perfect because my  machine had  a difficult time cutting it but I will  work on it some more in a bit to fix its imperfections.

Howdy

I saw this darling hat shaped card in the Silhouette Online  Store and just had to cut it for my daughter who is really into  the western theme.  I added the QKR stampede cowboy to dress it u a  bit and to make it  fir more into their challenge.

Joy

Meljen's Challenge this week is one word cards!   I merged  these two meljen designs and then kept the card simple.  I  like how they  look together.  I  am  also  using this card for the Sketch Saturday  Challenge.

Snowman tags

The   challenge at Silhouette Online is Gift Wrap Elements.  I made these  tags for some early gifts I need to wrap before they are seen since they are too big to hide anywhere but in plain  sight.  GlitternSparkle's challenge is called Tag It so these  should work there as well.

Reindeer Bag

I saw this  reindeer Bag in the Silhouette Online Store and thought he would be perfect for the C.r.a.f.t gift bag Challenge and the Creative Cutting anything Christmas but a card challenge. He was  a quick and easy cut.   

Telescoping Snowman

As I look  out my  window and realize it is the  19th of November, I am having a real  hard time  thinking about winter.  It is 83 degrees outside.  Shorts and barefoot weather in November~  Something is wrong with this  picture but anyway!  For the Repeat Impression's Snow Challenge I decided to try  a telescoping card.  I saw this on Pinterst and thought t was a cute idea.  So here is my  version of it.  Clear it Out has a  snowflake  challenge so I will use it there as well.

S'mores

The  challenge at  Clear it Out was  S'mores.  I wasn't  quite sure what to do with it but I had this  moose from a  Little Scraps of heaven Set and decided to use it with the s'mores  word from silhouette online.

Jar with Seashells

Craft Spot's Challenge is  a Pinterest  inspired photo of  mason jar and  the colors pink and blue.  I've been wanting to use my jar for a  while.  I made it a jar shaped card and  added some sea shells I cut using some  dies I bought several months ago and  hadn't used.  After  cutting the sea  shells I took them outside an sprinkled them lightly  with  sand to give them a  more  realistic look. With the Acetate over them I think they look pretty  good. I will also use this  card for the Party Time  Tuesday Challenge this week.

Be Thankful

Ok I found another  turkey  laying on my desk and decided I might as well use  him before I lose him.  I saw that Incy Wincy Designs has a Gratitude Challenge and so  does Tuesday Throwdown and Parade Your Crafts I am  going to use this card for all three challenges.  I used my silhouette to  cut  the  squares and to cut Be Thankful out.  Again I had to use  the trusty paint  chips to  cut eh  words  the size I wanted them.  So far paint chips have not let me down. They always  cut perfectly.

Thanksgiving Turkey

For the I Heart Sketch challenge I chose this  sweet turkey!  I think his  colors came out really nice.  I wasn't real  sure about the  circles but they  seemed to work out pretty well.  I also intend to use this  card for the Love to Create Challenge and the 2 Creative Chicks Thanksgiving Challenge. 

Wreath

I saw this  loopy  wreath  in the  Silhouette Online Store and  was anxious to make it. It is quite cute and has unlimited potential for uses.  Im  using it in the Little Tangles shaped card challenge.  Little Tangles also posted their caring hearts drive.  For this  drive they make and send  cards to the people living in nursing facilities who may not have  families and wont receive cards or gifts or maybe even a visit for Christmas.  I made  10 of these to distribute to residents at the local  nursing home so that I can  spread a little Christmas spirit there.  I will also use this  card at Curtain Call and CAS-ual Friday   for their  Casual Christmas Challenge. Silhouette Challenges also has a Holiday themed Challenge which I will enter.

Clemson

I  absolutely love  Little Miss Muffet's Heidi~  I use her for lots of things and always have several on my desk ready to be colored.  Today I chose to use her on this Sketch Saturday card for their  challenge and for the  photo inspired challenge at  Crafty Catz as well as Little Miss Muffet's Spots and Dots Challenge. 

Harvest

I saw this cornucopia on  silhouette and had been  wanting to cut it but was a bit hesitant because it had so many pieces.  It cut  beautifully. But I did  use paint  chips I picked up from Lowes for the vines and  word.  The  paint chips will cut  most anything perfectly the first time. I will use this  card for  the  Silhouette Online Weekly Challenge instead of using the  sketch pens.  I will also use it in the Creative Cutting Thanksgiving Challenge

Turtle and Lady Bug

Meljen's Challenge this week is Friends.  So I chose this turtle and his  friend the lady bug~. I  will use him for the Eureka stamps photo Inspiration challenge.

Fall Scene

The Challenge at GlitternSparkle is Autumn.  I think this  little mouse  with the  pumpkins under the  falling leaves  is perfect.

Reindeer Box

Today  I made this  cute reindeer box.  I needed  something to hide an early  Christmas Gift so there it is.  Because I  put a tag on it I will be using for the Tuesday Throw Down Tags Challenge!

Thankful

The  challenge at  PartyTime Tuesday is  Thanksgiving/ ThankYou Notes so  made this fall leave card and  added  thankful to the  side of it.  I enjoyed making it and  like how it turned out.  I will also use this card at Cardztv.
