Books

My sister is forever sending me books. She and I  both  enjoy reading so we read a lot of things. She also works at school which starts next week  I  thought this  quick card would be nice to wish her a successful new year at school and to thank her for the endless supply of reading material.  Pinspirational Challenges has a reading/book/ relaxing challenge.  This should work real well for that challenge.  Paper Creator's Crafts has a  Keep It simple challenge.

Christmas Tree

Once  again I'm  working on my Christmas Tree  Collection.  I've enjoyed the once a month day to do Christmas Cards.  I will be way ahead when  the time  comes.  Sparkles Christmas Challenges has a Shaped Card Challenge.  Crafty Gals has  an Embossing Challenge.  Crafting By Designs has a Christmas Challenge.  ABC Christmas has a Quick Layout challenge.  Hiding in My Craft Room has a Holiday Challenge.  Wednesday Inspiration also has a Christmas themed Challenge.

Fishing Trio

Simon Says Monday has a fishing theme.  I love these trio cards. I've made a ton of them.  These fish look a little  different to me but they will work for this.  Inspiration Destination and Penny's Paper Craft Challenges

Happy Birthday Ewe

Just trying to finish up a  few more challenges before I head back outside for a bit. I am always in need of birthday cards.  Seems August was a  big birthday month for me because I needed 14 cards.  That pretty much depleted my supply. I used the sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches for this one.  I also used my Wink of Stella  pens to give the  balloons a special sparkle for  the Tuesday Throw Down Sparkle challenge.  Die Cutting Divas has a birthday challenge. I used my  spellbinder  banner die to cut these banners. and a  scalloped circle behind the  image.

Just For You

If you follow  my blog very often you will know that I love bees!  Everything Bee has to be done immediately.  My sister showed me this card earlier this week and I couldn't wait to get it done.  Today I am using it for Crafty Calendar Challenges Summertime challenge.   City Crafter has  A YOU challenge.  Craft Rocket Challenges has a Winged Things Challenge. There are also several Anything Goes Challenges ending soon that I want to enter this into also

Hiding in my Craft Room has a Yummy  Challenge this week.  I chose this  cute  kitchen box card for this challenge.  Through the Craft Room Door and Crafty Sentiments both have Anything Goes Challenges.

Flamingo

I saw this cute box a couple weeks ago and wanted to make it.  Well, today I noticed that Curtain Call has a flamingo challenge. So there's my perfect reason for  finally making the box. Dream Valley has a Pink challenge.

Christmas Tags

The challenge at Creative Knockouts is Tags.  I like to make a few Christmas tags ahead of time so that as I  buy gifts through out the  year I can go ahead and tag them so I don't forget who I  bought them for.  This year as I buy I wrap so that I don't get so far behind like I  did a couple years ago.

Baby Reveal Party Invitations

My Son and Daughter-In- Law have announced they will be parents in March.  This was a real big surprise.  They are both anxious to find out what  it is. I will be making these cute invitations for the baby reveal party in a few weeks.  Cute Card Thursday has a Kiddies and Babies challenge.

Die Cutting Divas has a Thank You challenge ending real soon.  I used a couple flower dies to cut these flowers.  The background is also a die but I'm not sure whom it is by. Inspiration Destination and Penny's Paper Craft Challenges both have Anything goes as their themes.  Cupcake Inspiration has color challenge.  MHK  Designs also has a color challenge.

Back to School Moose

School here  started back this week.  I live on the street where the High School is.  I had forgotten how busy the traffic is on school days.  Hiding  in My Craft Room has a  Anniversary Blog.  The second Challenge for the blog is back to School. Crafty Sentiments  also has a back to school challenge.

Embossed Flowers

Just a quick card before bed.  I didn't get as much done today as I really wanted to but it was just a day to unwind from all the travelling I did this  week.  This one is for the Cupcake Inspirations Challenge.  I wanted to keep it  CAS.  Just fits the mood I'm in.  Glitter N Sparkle and Tuesday Throw Down both have An Anything Goes Challenge that ends tomorrow as well. I   did not use glitter but I chose sparkly diamond gems for the flower centers to give it a  sparkle.  Marker Pop  has an Embossing challenge.

Music

Today is the first crafting day  I've had all week.  On Monday my  second  grandchild was  born and  I spent the week  with her instead of having  so much crafting time.  It feels good to be home and  getting back to "normal".  Addicted to CAS  has  a  music theme this  week.  I too love  music   so  was very anxious to make something for this challenge.   Craft On Your Passion, Crafting From the Heart and Through the Craft Room Door all have Anything Goes challenges ending soon.  City Crafter has a  Black and white challenge.  Hiding in My Craft Room has an Anniversary  blog hop going on.  They have  had  three different  challenges for this  hop.  The first is  Scraps.  I used scraps to cut this dashing card  so this shall be my entry.

Isla

Isla has a  birthday this week.  She  is a sweet little girl and loves to wear hats.  I saw the challenge at MHK Designs and thought  she would like the  color combination that is their challenge.  I used a sketch from  Freshly Made Sketches.  Craft  Rocket Challenges has a  Glitter challenge so I used glitter on her hat and jacket.  Pinspirational Challenges  has  Lady wearing a flowered  hat  as  their photo inspiration.  Aud Sentiments has a  For a Child with Sentiment challenge.  Penny's Paper Challenge and  Word Art Wednesday both have an Anything Goes theme.  Cute Card Thursday has a Dressing up Challenge.  this  little gal is pretty dressed up to me.

I have used this image by From the Heart so many times.  Today I used the sketch at I {heart} Sketches to make this  simple card.  Through the Craft Room Door  And Inspiration Destination both have an Anything Goes Challenge.  Brown Sugar Challenges also has an Anything Goes challenge.

Fairy Light

I  used a  simple drinking glass to make this cute night light for my new  Grand daughter's room.   She will be to small to enjoy it right away but maybe she will enjoy it as she grows.  The Challenge at Simon Says Monday is to use purpose a container of  some type.

Back to School

Today I used the sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches to make this  Back to School Card for  a friend.  Crafting Desert Divas and Die Cutting Divas  both have Back to School Challenges.  I used  my  Spellbinder apple die and a set of letters to cut the layers apples.  Crafty Sentiments has a  Dies Challenge.

Kensington

Today  I'm working on these darling lollipops for my friends granddaughter.  the  baby is due  towards the end of the month  but I needed to get a head start on these. I also noticed Dies R Us has a baby Challenge.  I thought these would be perfect.  I used a  scalloped circle die and a  one and  a half inch punch for the circles. I'm not sure who the feet die is from.  Cupcake Inspirations has a  color challenge.  I only used two of the three colors but I think that works as well.  Hiding in My Craft Room  has a pastels challenge. Tuesday Throw Down has a New Additions Challenge.

Watermelon

I made this cute  watermelon eating bear today for the Kadoodle Bug  Summer treats Challenge.

Flip Flops

I need more practice with my shaker card tool.  I couldn't get it to work so I had to do it the old fashion way. I really like these shakers but sometimes the tool doesn't work as well as I want it to. Both Little Tangles and Brown Sugar Challenges have Shaker card challenges.  Crafty Creations has a  Beach Challenge.  Wednesday's Inspiration has a Summertime Fun Challenge.  Through the Craftroom Door has an Anything Goes Challenge.  Crafty Creations  has a Beach themed challenge.

Space

My  2yr old  Grandson is fascinated  with the moon so I made him this  quick card he can play with for a while and to remind him to look at the moon. The challenge at  Cute Card Thursday is also Outer Space themed.

Larry the Bee

Another yellow card!   I think I'm going to need to hide the yellow paper for a while.  The  challenge at As You Like it  is Favorite paper and why?  Lately I've been  really into using digital papers that I can print.  it is so easy to find paper that matches your theme if you take the time to look for it,  So I'm going with digital paper as my favorite.  However, if you peep into my craftroom you would think I had ever  piece ever made.  Creative Knockouts has a Favorite color combination  challenge.  my favorite of all time is Yellow and black.  I do use it  a lot.  Craft on Your Passion has an Anything Goes Challenge.

Yellow and Navy hatter

I think I'm stuck on yellow!  The last three cards  (this is the only one I've posted so far) have been  yellow.  that's really kind of  odd for me  but I'm liking the bright cheerful  colors.  This  image is from Little Miss Muffet.  LMM has an Anything Goes  challenge this week. Paper Shelter also has an Anything Goes Challenge. Give A Crafter a  Cookie has a  color challenge with hats on the cookie so I thought this would be perfect.  ABC Challenges has a M is  for Maiden Challenge.

Yellow Butterfly

I guess I'm hung up on Butterflies today.  I really like the bright  yellows of this image.  I used the sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches for this one.  I think I'll also enter it in  Through the Purple Hazes Monochrome challenge.  Inspiration Destination and Pennys Paper Craft challenges both have an Anything Goes Challenge.  Simon Says Wednesday has a Floral Challenge.  Just Add Ink has "F" themed challenge.(anything starting with a F)

Pink Glittery Butterflies

I cut this card and made these delicate butterflies out of waxed paper for the GlitterN Sparkle Butterfly Challenge.  I didn't realize I had already made this card but with different  colors until after I was  finished.  So here it is again with a  different look. I love eth soft glittery wings.  Crafting From the Heart and  Craft on Your Passion Both have their usual Anything Goes Challenges.  Through the Purple Haze has a monochrome challenge.

Newton's Nook

I bought these stamps a  few weeks ago and I have failed to use them  till now.  I love this little cat and the mischief  he sometimes makes.  Newton's Nook has a Summertime Challenge.  This  little guy is in some summertime mischief. Cupcake  Inspirations has an Outdoors Challenge.  Through the CraftRoom Door has an Anything Goes Challenge.

Patriotic

When I start making Patriotic cards this little  gal always comes to mind.  She is one of my favorites and colors so well.  Today I used  sketch  216 from  Saturday Morning Sketches.  Cut it Up Challenges has a Red White and Blue Challenge.  I used my Spellbinder squares to  cut the base for the image and  then a star die to cut the foil stars. Jo's Scrap Shack  has an Anything Goes Challenge.  I love being able to use some of my many scraps to complete projects. 613 Avenue Create  also has an Anything Goes Challenge.

One  more before bed.  This  is for the Imagine That fancy Fold Challenge.  It has been a while since I visited their site.  I saw this and  knew it would fit right in with the Crafting By Designs Down on the Farm challenge as well.  Brown Sugar Challenges has an Anything Goes Challenge.  A Gem of a Challenge has an Animals theme.

Tonight I'm taking the easy road out. I'm behind on several challenges and am  trying to catch up.  I'm not in a  complicated kind of  mood  so I kept this pretty simple.  Just Add Ink has a Color challenge.  Pinks and browns are not colors I use real often but this works.  Word  Art Wednesday and  Inspiration Destination both have Anything Goes Challenges.  Simon says Wednesday and Creative Knockouts both have an Anything Goes challenge.  In the Pink has a Rubber Stamp challenge.  This stamp is by Stampendous and is one I use a lot.
