Flowere

I was  a bit leary of the color choices at Cupcake Inspirations.  they are not colors I would normally put together. But after  putting this quick card together I really like them.  Thanks CI for changing my opinion. Crafty Gals has an Anything Goes challenge.

Snowflakes

Another  quick  Winter card before  I move on to something else.  Sparkles Christmas Challenge has a Snowflake challenge.  U can't see the glittery  white  on the snowman but he really has a lot  of sparkle.  I first cut the snowflake panel in white but it didn't  pop as much as it did in  the dark blue. 

Christmas lantern

When Christmas  finally arrives I will have so many  Christmas Cards waiting for an early send out.  I've enjoyed  doing the Christmas in July Challenges.  It will give me a huge head start for the holiday season.  Cards Tv has a Christmas in July Challenge ending real soon.   I  just love all the  sparkle and  shine on this card. The  foil paper on the lantern and  greenery  just glisten and the  glittery star just sets the whole thing off perfectly.  Pinspirational Challenges  also has a Christmas theme.  Fab N Funky also  chose Christmas as their challenge this month.

Beach Umbrellas

This card shows the beach from an entirely different view.  It shows the beach umbrellas in  sort of an arial view. Its kinda  neat when it is finished.  I used a memory box die for the umbrellas and an elongated  oval for the surf board.  Dies R Us has a Water/beach challenge.  Little Tangles has an Umbrella Challenge.

Cat Spinner

I'm not real sure I  color  the paper  choices I made on this card and I may change it before I make another one. But I like these new  mini spinners from Art Impressions.  Jo's Scrap Shack has a coral blue and tan challenge.  I didn't start out to use this for that challenge but it worked out that way.   Crafty Hazelnut has her usual patterned paper challenge.  Craft Rocket Challenges has a spots and stripes challenge.  Crafty Sentiments has an Animal Challenge.

Rainbows

This morning  I had a couple  cute kids  here to visit.  Emily is  10 and wanted to make this rainbow card for  her friend  who is in the hospital. I helped her cut it out. She colored it. Hope it Cheers up her sick friend.  I'll post Jess's card later. She not quite done with it yet.  This works well for the Lawnscaping Challenges Rainbow theme.

Perry

I was reminded  yesterday that my Brother in Law has a birthday  soon.  He is an Alabama Fan so He most always gets and elephant card.  Cute Card Thursday has a circles challenge  so I chose this rocker card.  Creative Knockouts has a Birthday challenge. Little Miss Muffett has  an Anything goes challenge.  This darling elephant is a LMM image.  ABC Challenges has a Lots of Layers challenge.

Apples

I'm getting an early  start on a few fall cards.  the weather is  so horribly hot  I'm really  dreaming of  cooler weather.  As You Like it  has a different sort of challenge.  they want to see your trademark style.  I like this that  immediate  catch the eye  with interest. shapes and dimensions are a big plus with me. 613 Avenue Create, Crafting from the Heart and Craft On Your Passion all have an Anything Goes Challenge.

Gingerbread Man

I saw this  cute card posted on another  sight and wanted to make it  before I forgot where I saw it.  Give A Crafter a Cookie and Dream Valley both have a Christmas themed challenge this week.  Brown Sugar Challenges also has a Christmas theme.

Butterfly tag

This sketch is from Freshly Made Sketches.  I always enjoy doing their sketches each week.  I love this  butterfly tag I cut.  It  didn't  show up as much as I wanted with the background paper

Owls

I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted to do for the CASology Rough challenge. So I dug out my tree texture plate and my owl die to make this  cute card.  I've used this design several times  several years ago but it is well worth bringing out again. Just Add Ink has a Paper Piecing Challenge.  These  cute owls are  definitely paper pieced.  Simon Says  Wednesday has a  Wings Challenge.  Craft Calendar Challenges has a Dies and  Punches Challenge.

Apple note

I baked an apple pie tonight for  some friends we had  over for dinner.  Theresa  like the pie so well she wanted the recipe.  I'm going to put the recipe on this cute apple card and send it to her.  I also  plan to use this in the 613 Ave Create Challenge.

Anchor boxes

Again today I am making boxes.  I keep a good supply ready incase I need them. I love these little boxes.  They are good for most any occasion.  Simon Says Monday has a Nautical theme that I  think these boxes should work real well in.

Pirate

I love making boxes and having them on hand for unexpected gifts to people I  often visit.   I'm going to see Landon tomorrow and he knows I will bring him something.  He like pirates  so I am sure he will love this.  Also, the theme at Crafting When We Can is based on a movie.  I'm using Pirates of the Caribbean as my movie.  Die Cutting Divas has a  3D  challenge.  I used a  die from Spellbinder to cut the skull and  cross bones and the sword.  I thought it needed a  bit more to dress it up. Paper Creator's Crafts has a Men theme challenge.

Pineapple

I have an uncle in the hospital and he really likes all things pineapple.  So, I'm turning this cute card into a Get Well Soon card.  I am sure he will appreciate that.  Also, Cupcake Inspirations has a Pineapple themed challenge.  Crafty Sentiments and Inspiration Destination both have an Anything Goes challenge.  City Crafter has a tropical themed challenge.

December 25

Now I have my CAS  sequin card!  My mind got lost on the first one. Oh well, this one is  actually for the CAS on Sunday  sequin challenge and the last Chocolate, Coffee and Cards Number challenge.  I really hate to see their blog go,  but I do understand that life does sometimes get in the way of our fun.

Cold Hands

It's  funny how something s  work out.  I started this as a  CAS card with sequins and forgot where I was going. So it ended up as the sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches.  maybe I'll get the next one right.  Crafty Gals  and Crafting By Designs both have a Christmas in July Challenge. Penny's Paper Crafty challenges also has a Christmas in July theme.

Snowball Penguin

Another  sketch tonight.  This one is from Sketch Saturday.  I look forward to their sketches each week.  I used my Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens to color the  snowballs and give them a  little  shine.  I also added the  red  gems to the snowflake.  I really prefer  clear ones but Apparently I am all out of them.  Glitter and Sparkle has an Anything Goes Challenge.  Jo's Scrap Shack has a 321 Challenge.  Three colors, 2 embellishments and one technique.  Crafty Gals has a Christmas in July Challenge.

Pink Pop Up

Tonight I decided to try something a little different.  I've seen this  fold several times but never made one myself.  Tonight I made it for the Chocolate, Coffee and Cards Fancy and Pink challenge.  Craft On Your Passion and Through the Craftroom Door both have anything goes challenges.  Hiding in My Craft Room has a New Fold Challenge. In the Pink has an All Or Nothing Challenge.

Lydia's Lollipops

Today I worked on the shower favors for my daughter's baby shower.  It fit right in line with the Brown Sugar Challenges Baby Challenge.  It  took most of the day but I made 40 of these for the shower. Cut it Up and  Crafting From the Heart both have anything goes challenges.

Camper

My camping buddies are  leaving  next weekend for a trip to Florida without me.  I can't make this trip so I will miss out on all the  fun.  I am sending them each one of these  cute campers to wish them well and safe travels.  Also, Pinspirational Challenges has a travel/vacation themed challenge.

Grill

Cuddlebug Mania has a  BBQ  time  Challenge.  I used a couple different sets of dies to get  the  pieces I wanted for this  box card.  I  used spellbinder  squares and rectangles and  the Let's barbeque Set from Lawn fawn for some of my utensils and condiments and also the BBQ tool set from Our Daily Bread.  I like  how it all came together. Penny's Paper Challenges has an Anything Goes Challenge.  Marker Pop has a Die cut Challenge. 

Penguin

One layer cards are not my thing, but occasionally I do a few.  I colored this  guy on vacation and wasn't sure what  I would do with  him but he fits  right in with the One layer challenge at Tuesday Throw Down.  ABC Christmas has an N for No rules Challenge.  CAS  ology has an Art Challenge.  I'm not real sure what they are looking for  but this little guy seems to be proud of the picture he made.

Aud Sentiments has a For a girl with Sentiment challenge.  This is for Avery's birthday later this week. Crafty Gals has a Monochrome Challenge.  I used the sketch from Just Add Ink.  Crafty Sentiments and Inspiration Destination both have Anything Goes Challenges

Hamlet in basket

I just  came home from a long weekend at the beach.  It was nice to get away and  just relax  for a bit.  I took crafting materials with me but never touched them. I am truly shocked.  Anyway. I colored this image today after I got home and wanted to finish this sketch from I {Heart} Sketches.  Craft Rocket Challenges has an Anything Goes Challenge.  Creative Knockout Challenges has a Favorite Embellishment Challenge.  I really  enjoy using these peeler beads that  I melted.  They come in so many  colors and are easy to make. Cute Card Thursday has an Embossing challenge.  this little guy should also fit nicely in the Simon Says Monday  Flora and Fauna Challenge.

Little Miss Muffett

One more before bedtime.  I made this one this morning and forgot to post it.  Didn't notice til a few minutes ago I used the same sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches for this one too. This  little gal,and I forget her name is from Little Miss Muffett and  will work nicely in the Anything Goes Challenge.

Ava

This little gal is one of my Favorite Whimsie Doodle girls.  I use her a lot.  The challenge at Whimsie Doodle is Beach related.  Also, Simon Says Wednesday has a  color challenge in addition to a photo inspiration. Their colors made it an easy decision what  colors I would use this time.  Dies are Us  has an Outdoor Fun Challenge.  I used  my  spellbinder rectangles to cut my digital frames. Lawnscaping Challenges also has a Mood board featuring these  same colors.  As You Like it has a Pens or Pencils Challenge.  Most often I use my Spectrum Noir  pens but I do enjoy  coloring with pencils occasionally.  I almost failed to mention that the sketch came from Tuesday Morning Sketches.  Give a Crafter a Cookie has an Anything Goes Challenge.

Today I needed a quick Thank You card for someone.  these  flowers were cut from a new die I recently purchased.  they cut really  well. and  I will enjoy  using them again. Also ABC Challenges has a K is for Kind  Challenge ending real soon. I was able to cut  these  flowers and sentiment from scraps so I'm also using this card in the Jo's Scrap Shack Anything Goes Challenge.  Through the Craft Room Door also has an Anything Goes Challenge.

Christmas Wreath

Cards TV has a Christmas in July Challenge.  I'm really not in Christmas  mode yet but it will be nice to have a few cards already made when the time comes.   Just  Add Ink has a photo inspiration of a wreath. n Hiding in My Craftroom  also has a  Christmas challenge.  Crafting From the Heart and Craft On Your Passion both have Anything Goes Challenges.

4th of July

I cut this card out a few days ago and never found time to put it together.  I used the sketch at Die Cuttin Divas.  I used several star punches I had and  then cut my  words. Simon Says Monday and CAS ual Friday both have a Red, White, and Blue challenge closing soon.  Curtain Call still has a Red White and Blue challenge as well.  Dream Valley has a  Flag  Challenge.  of course I had to Use the colors of the USA.

Naps

One more challenge before I clean up my mess.  This one is For the Newton's Nook Ombre challenge.  Through the Craft Room Door,  Inspiration Destination and Penny's Paper Challenges all have an Anything Goes Challenge I've  managed to overlook.  In the Pink has an All or Nothing Challenge.  For this particular card I Chose to keep it simple so I'm going with nothing.

Elephant Stacker

A few days ago my sister  found these cute stacker stamps and dies at Art Impressions. We couldn't wait to try them out.  She of course made her right away. I had to wait another day till I had more time. Butterfly Tri Fold Card

Today I'm working on a  couple challenges before I head out to work.  CAS on Sunday  has a  Black and White   plus one other  color Challenge.  That seemed to  fit well with the Addicted to CAS  FLY challenge.   I love these buttery soft  delicate  yellow butterflies.

Christmas Mouse

There are a  couple challenges  doing a Christmas in July theme.  I'm so not  ready for Christmas  but it will be nice to have a couple cards made up ahead of time this year.  ABC Christmas  has a Mice themed challenge.  Fab N Funky has just a Christmas Challenge.  Word Art Wednesday has an Anything Goes Challenge.  Hiding in  My Craft Room  has a  Christmas Color Challenge. Di's Digi Designs  and One Crazy Stamper both have a  Christmas in  July  challenge.

Lighthouse

 I guess I'm dreaming of the beach today. This is the second beach themed card  this am.  This sketch is from Freshly Made Sketches.  I  didn't have much time this morning to play but when I saw how  simple this sketch was I jumped right on it. Sometimes its good to do things that  go together quickly.

Fairy

I have one  little girl coming to lunch today so I thought I'd make her this cute little pixie box.  I filled it with fairy dust candy and she  will be delighted to have it after she finishes her lunch. Also the Challenge at Throw Down Tuesday is fairies and fantasy.  Crafty Creations has an Anything Goes Challenge I've not yet completed.

Beach Medley

When I saw this Digital at From The Heart I knew I had to color it.  I was pretty sure it wouldn't be long before I tacked it.  The Challenge at CASology is ROW.  this should be perfect.  Pinspirational Challenges  has a Summertime Challenge. Both Penny's Paper Crafts and Simon Says Wednesday have Anything Goes Challenges.

There are  several challenges that  are banners and flags.  City Crafter and Cute Card Thursday both have flags or banners as their challenge.  Chocolate Coffee and Cards has a Girls of Summer challenge. Craft Gals Corner, Inspiration Destination, and  Penny's Paper Craft Challenges all have Anything Goes  Challenges.

Loads of Happiness

This shaker card didn't turn out the way I wanted it but it still works.  This is from the Sugar Pea Designs and is the second one of their mixups.  City Crafter has a Flag Or banner challenge. Simon Says Monday has a Tic Tac Toe  Challenge.  I used Gold, Sequins and a stamp.

Life's a Beach

A Gem of a Challenge has an Anything But a Card Challenge.  While I was at the  beach I scooped up a bucket of sand and picked up some seashells to  make this Lighted  beach box.  I love how it turned out  but may decided to add a ribbon around it and a big bow on the top.

I've been working on this  cute rocker  card for a couple days.  it  took a  while to cut all those tiny pieces.  Craftin Desert Divas has a  Red White and Blue Challenge.  Just Add Ink has an Add an S element.  I added  these bright colorful stars.  Jo's Scrap Shack has a Patriotic Challenge.  I love using scraps to make projects.  Crafting When We Can  has a Any Occasion Challenge.  Marker Pop has a 4th of July Challenge.  I used my markers to  color all these  tiny pieces since I  cut them all from white stock.  Curtain Call also  has a  Red white and blue challenge.

Buzzing By

Another  quick Bee Card before I go.  I  just love Bees So anything with a bee just has to be made.  I'm sending this to a bee keeping friend  who will also appreciate it,  Glitter n Sparkle has a Tag Challenge. I used my  Wink of Stella  Sparkle  and Shimmer  Pens on this little guy to give him some shine.  Aud Sentiments has a Funny Sentiment Challenge.  This isn't a sentiment  I would just use for anyone so I find it a bit funny.

Spring Peaches

Working on a couple challenges before we head out to enjoy the boat for a bit. This sketch is from Stella Says Sketch.I missed the  color challenge at Catch the Bug Challenge but  will still use this in the Anything Goes Challenge for July.  Die Cutting Divas has a  Birthday  challenge going on.  I used both  a circle die and a scalloped circle die since my Silhouette is on the blink right now.  It was  nice to have my dies to fallback on.  I think I might  try and use them more since I have so many.  Crafty Sentiments and Through the Craft Room Door both have Anything Goes Challenges.

Summertime

Digi Design Challenges has a Summer Challenge.  This sweet  little girl is enjoying her summer for sure. I used my  colored pencils instead of pens to give her a softer  look.  Dream Valley Challenges also has a Summer color Challenge.  613 Avenue Create has a Sights Smells and Tastes of Summer
