Strawberry Basket

When I saw this darling strawberry basket in the Silhouette Store I knew I would be making it real soon.  I simply love  strawberries.  This is a little smaller than I  wanted it  but  next time I will adjust the size a bit.  Lori Whitlock has a Spring/Easter dimensional Challenge.  I  hope I entered it in the right place. Lawnscaping Challenges. has a  Sweets Challenge.  I am certain these strawberries are plenty sweet enough.  It's not Spring at our house until that  first bucket of fresh picked strawberries shows up.  So I'm using  these strawberries as my  entry in the Paper Creator's Crafts Spring Challenge.  Connie Can Crop has an Anything Goes Challenge.

April Showers

I like  title cards.  This  one was so easy  except that my silhouette is still acting up a bit.  I'm thinking a new blade might be  in order.  Crafty Sentiments  has a Shapes Challenge.  CASology has a weather challenge. I'm really hoping they will allow this there.  Simon Says Wednesday has a Rain or Shine challenge.  Word Art Wednesday has an anything goes Challenge.

Fishing Birdbrain

Well this card  just didn't work no matter what I tried.  To  start with my  cutter would not find the registration lines so I couldn't  cut it into an oval as I planned. So I went with a simple square.  Then I couldn't find the paper I just know I've  got some place and would have matched this  perfectly. But my printing screw did allow me to pop the fish and the worm can out to give it a bit of dimension.  This is sorta the Sketch at I {heart} Sketches.

Spring Flowers

I'm not feeling so well today but had a couple cards I wanted to get posted.  Then I'm afraid it's back to bed for me.  This is a  Silhouette File and I think it turned out great.  Craft on  Your Passion,  Crafting From the Heart,Penny's Paper Challenges and Through the Craft Room Door all have anything goes Challenges ending soon.  Wednesday's Inspiration has a Nature Challenge.  Fab N'  Funky has a Flower challenge.

Easter Egg

I tried real hard to get a really good  picture of this delicate egg box card. This  picture isn't great but it will have to do.  It took along time to put together because of all the details.  I'm using this card for the Little Miss Muffet Anything Goes Challenge. Cut it Up  has a  happy Easter/Bunny Challenge. A Gem of a Challenge also has an Easter theme.  Craftin Desert Divas has  a Photo Inspiration with lots of Spring colros.

This darling bunny needed a home. Another St. Patrick's Day card I started and didn't finish.  He should fit right into a few green Challenges this week.  Glitter n' Sparkle has a Green  Challenge. I simply love this  carrot box! it is just too cute.  I want to make a few more but not sure if I will have the time.  Through the Craft Room Door and Inspiration Destination both have an anything Goes Challenge. Bunny and mouse

I love this  image and have used it  so many times.  This  sentiment is  just sweet enough to go with it.  This sketch came from Sketch Saturday's Challenge this week.  Suzy Bee's Bloomin Challenge has an Anything Goes/Easter challenge. Crafting When We Can has a  Washi tape Challenge. I used two different  colors of washi tape.

Spring Bear

My image was a  little  bigger than I intended  but after I colored it there was  no turning back.  I made it work for this sketch anyway.  The sketch came from Your Next Stamp.  They have both a sketch and a  color challenge.  The colors left  lots of  options.  Crafty Sentiments and Through the Craft Room Door  both have an Anything Goes Challenge

Cat and Clover

I started this last night but  was too tired to finish it.  I thought I'd  get it done this  morning but  that  never happened.  Now it is finished  just in time for the Brown Sugar Challenges  Green and  Gold Challenge.  Lawnscaping Challenges has a  Black and White with a  Splash of  color  challenge. Once  again I am proud that I was  able to cut  all of these pieces for this card from my scrap basket.  I have  way too many scraps. Hiding in My Craft Room has a  Scraps challenges.

Spring Flowers

My daughter lives in  Virginia. I am in SC so today we got on Skype and made this delightful bright  flower card together. I really like  how  bright and cheerful these flowers  are.  Wags N' Whiskers has a Spring Challenge.  Catch the Bug  has a  Bright and Cheery  challenge. Another entry in the CardsTV  3d Spring Décor  challenge.  All of my  craftiness is not always used for paper.   Sometimes it  escapes in other ways.

Easter box

Today I wanted to make something for Easter.  I really  don't need to make more Easter cards because I already have more than I can possibility  mail.   I saw this explosion box and thought that would be perfect.  I actually made two and will post the second one in a  bit.  it isn't quite finished.  I thought this might work well in the CardsTV 3d Spring Decor Challenge.  Fab and  Funky has a Paper Piecing Challenge.  A Gem of a Challenge  and Wags N' Whiskers both have a Spring Challenge.

It's a Girl

I  don't know anyone having a  girl.   I do  know a  couple expectant others  so  I don't  want anyone to  think I let the secret out.  My daughter  wanted to make this for a friend of hers who is expecting a girl any day now.  She needed help constructing it so I made one to show  her how to put it together.  Then I noticed that Give A Crafter A Cookie  has a baby Challenge. Brown Sugar Challenges has a Cute and Cuddly challenge.  I just must  say that any  little girl getting this card will be cute and  cuddly so this is my entry.  Through the Purple Haze has a Make a Scene challenge.  This is a cute  little girl's nursery.

unfinished projects

I  had a   good chuckle when I saw the challenge at  City Crafter.  It is  I'm working on my  Ph D. I  kinda  thought  gee wonder what that is until I kept Reading Ph D (Projects half  Done).  I looked in my basket of extra  pieces and parts and  decided today was a good day to try and  work on some of those  pieces.  Here are  6  now complete  projects that be taken out of my  "I'll Finish it Later " basket.  Maybe one day I will get tot he bottom of it.  (Ha Ha!  who am I kidding that will never happen, because I add to it  almost daily!)

Lena's Birthday

My friend's Daughter has a birthday this week.  She really likes pink and green. So  I chose those colors for her card.  Just Add Ink  has an Add a number Challenge. Seize the Birthday has an Anything Goes Challenge.  As  You Like it has a Favorite Occasion and Why Challenge.  Everybody secretly  loves their birthday and deserves a special day. We  just  don't always like the numbers that go along with it. Craftin Desert Divas has a layers Challenge.

Strawberry Season

Today I used the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches to make this strawberry card for the Clear It Out  Foods and Plaid challenge. Di's Digi's Has a  Use  two or more  Dies challenge.  I used  the strawberry border die and a strawberry.  Craft on Your Passion and Crafting From the Heart both have  Anything Goes Challenges.

Bike

The challenge at CASology is spinning.  This  bike surely  spins its way along. Sometimes I notice dies don't  cut as well as I think they should. I tried this one three times and  on none of them could I get the  tiny rear spokes to come out.  I used the sketch from CAS on Sunday.  Fan-tastic Tuesday has an Anything Goes/for a Child Challenge. Crafty Gals has a Boys challenge.  Any  little boy would enjoy trying out this bike.

Tulips

One more  before bedtime!  This  wasn't exactly my pan when I started this but  things do change sometimes.  I tried to follow the sketch at I {heart} sketches and make it an easel card too.  I wanted to use a different image but couldn't  seem to locate it  so I went with this one. Happy Easter

While I  had  this file open on my Silhouette I decided to go ahead and make this Easter card  too.  I bought  several of these miniature sets of stamps a few weeks ago.  I wanted somethings to fit in small spaces. This looked like the perfect fit.  Glitter N' Sparkle has a things with Wings challenge.  the  tiny butterflies are  punched from a real fine glitter  paper to give them lots of sparkle. Crafty Sentiments has a Spring Challenge. Penny's  Paper Craft Challenges has a  Feathers or Fur challenge.  Curtain Call has a key lime challenge. Suzy Bee's Bloomin  Challenges has an Anything Goes/ Spring challenge.  Jo's Scrap Shack has an anything goes challenge.  Hiding in My Craft Room has a  Spring Color challenge.

Frosty Kisses

Its been a couple weeks since I posted anything because I have simply been too  busy and when I finally did have down time I wasn't in a creative mood. Today  I decided to have some play time since I had the house to myself and it was  quiet.  I saw this  card someplace a few  weeks ago and wanted to make it.  The weather here is feeling more like Spring but I knew if I didn't do this I would forget it next year. So here  it is. 

There are several Anything Goes Challenges I am going to slip this into.  I've missed so many lately that it is high time for me to get back in the swing of things.
