White Wedding

This picture really doesn't  show up very well but it  is  better  than all the rest I took.  My friend Jessica is getting married in a few weeks.  Saturday is her  shower. So I etched her name in the bottom of this set of  casserole dishes.  Then I used the vinyl cutouts to put her  name on the tops of the dishes.  This easy  glass etching  can  turn any  cheap glass into a  personalized piece of art.  Jessica  will appreciate this.  Also Glitter and Sparkle has  an Anything that starts with G. The etching on the glass has a  glittery shimmer to it. Brown Sugar Challenges  and Crafty Time Challenges both have an Anything but a Card Challenge.  This is definitely not a card.

School

Wag N Whiskers has a Back to School Challenge.  I used the sketch from Your Next Stamp. I really wanted to used their color  inspiration but it  just didn't fit with this image.

Candyland Snowman

Another  one of  From the Hearts Snowmen.  Lawnscaping has a  Texture challenge.  I  used my  swirling snow flakes  embossing folder to  make a snowy background.  Fantastic Tuesday has a Bright and colorful challenge. Crafty Calendar Challenges has an Anything Goes challenge.

Gamecocks

Its that time of year again!  I don't care for football but wish they played every weekend till February!  That's the only way I get  quiet time while my men are at the game!  The challenge at Cut it Up is Sports, so this  should fit in perfectly.  Through the Craft Room Door has an Anything Goes challenge.  Pinspirational Challenges is Boys!   I'm pretty  sure most   little boys would enjoy this card.

Celebrate

Today was  my friend  Vicki's Birthday!  I made this card  for her yesterday and  forgot to post it.  I think the pink  bows  gave it  a nice finishing touch.  The challenge at Word Art Wednesday  is Celebrate and the In The Pink Challenge is Ribbons and bows.  Chocolate, Coffee and Cards challenge is Fancy and feminine.  Pile It On has a Birthday Challenge.  Give A Crafter a Cookie also has a Ribbons and  Bows challenge. 

Gone Fishing

I bought this stamp almost a year ago and never got to use it.  I actually lost it and just found it today when I finally moved my desk.  I was  so excited to find it.  SugarPea Designs has a Summertime Sweetness  Challenge.  Simon Says Wednesday has a Use A Stamp Challenge.  Craft Your Passion and Crafting From The Heart both have Anything Goes Challenges.  Tuesday Throwdown   has a For A Child Challenge.  Landon  is  getting this card because he likes to fish. A Gem of a Challenge is Boys, Boys Boiys.

Cats on fence

CASology has a  Moon challenge.  I've used this several times for Halloween so I made another one for this  challenge.  Cuddlebug mania has an Anything Goes Challenge.  I used my die to  cut he fence. and a spellbinder to cut the moon.

Feeling Flat

The  Challenge at City Crafter is Feeling Flat.  They wanted  one layer cards.  So I simply printed my image on my card  then to keep my markers from bleeding through on the inside I used my  color pencils.  I so rarely use them so it  was nice to do something different. 613 Avenue Create has an Anything Goes/ Love Challenge.

Maggie

I just love this  cow named Maggie  from Imagine That!   She is just too cute.  This   sketch  is from Sugar Pea Designs.  I almost missed it but I think I have enough time to get it posted.  Penny's Paper Craft Challenges has an Anything Goes Challenge.  Cute Card Thursday  has a  Numbers  challenge.

Another From the Heart image!   I am so ready for  Fall.  It has been so hot and dry here that I am very ready for those cool crisp days of Fall.  This sketch is one of Tuesday Morning Sketches.  Inspiration Destination and  Tuesday Throwdown both have an  Anything Goes challenge.  Digi Designs has a  Fall Challenge.  Cards TV has a  Three Color Only Challenge.  Shades of  Orange , Green and  a  touch of  Purple.

Both the sketch and the image are from  From the Heart Digital Stamps.  I  often use their images and  sketches.  Simon Says Monday  has a  Stamp Die Cut or punch challenge.  My  sea Gull is a Spellbinder die I've had  for some time and forgotten.   Through the Craft Room Door and  Clear it Out both have an Anything Goes  challenge.  Papertake Weekly has a Wings challenge.

This  is for Suzy Bee's Bloomin Challenges.  Their challenge is Anything Goes with a  twist of toys.   I'm running a  bit late as usual but trying so hard to catch up.  Catch the  Bug also has an Anything Goes Challenge.  Craftin Desert Divas has a kids challenge.  ABC  Challenges  has a  Q is for Queens challenge.

Snowman

This  little guy is a  digital at From the Heart.  He's  just  so cute.  I wanted to get into their sketch last week  but  missed it so I am still using that as my  sketch sorta.  A  Gem of a Challenge has a  Snowman Challenge and Addicted to CAS has a blue challenge.  Crafting From the Heart has an Anything Goes challenge. Digi Design Challenges has a Sentiment challenge.  My sentiment is hard to read  because I also stamped it in  blue. Creative Card Crew  has a Christmas challenge. 

Autumn Leaves

When I saw the  Cute Card Thursday Autumn Leaves Challenge I just  knew I had to cut these  darling trio cards.  I couldn't decide which one I wanted to use so I cut them both.  I think later when I get ready to send them I  may add a  sentiment on the bottom.  Simply Too Cute! Crafting When We Can,  613 Avenue Create and Craft on Your Passion all have Anything Goes Challenges.  Connie Can Crop  also has a Fall Colors Challenge. Marker Pop also has an Autumn Challenge.

Wheat Field

I  recently bought this embossing  folder and wasn't real sure what I would do with it.  I've seen several real simple cards made with it  that I just loved  so I will give it another try later.  For now this is for the Crafty Gals Corner and Paper Shelter's  Embossing  challenges.  Word Art Wednesday has their usual  anything goes  challenge.

Grape Jam

City Crafter has a In a  Jam  Challenge.  This jam jar is not as cute as the one  my sister and I made last week but we didn't want to submit the same thing for this challenge so I chose this one instead.  Inspiration Destination and  As You Like It  both have an Anything Goes Challenge.  Normally I like  lots of layers on my cards.  This one certainly has plenty of layers.

Flip Flop

I don't currently own any Newton's Nook stamps  but I have placed an order.  I anxiously await my order so I can play with it.  Until that time I will just have to be content  using  the freebies.  Their challenge this week is this sketch.  Summer is fading fast so I thought one more  Summertime card was in order.  Fantastic Tuesday has their usual  Anything Goes Challenge.  Wednesday's Inspirations challenge is  Warm  Colors. 

Maggie's Apples

Ok so I missed last month's Imagine That Challenge!  This month I was bound and determined to get it done instead of  waiting til the last minute.  I used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches but instead of  running the ribbon on  top of the image I put it behind it.  Crazy Hazelnut still has her Patterned paper  challenge.  One Crazy Stamper has a Fall challenge.   Glitter N' Sparkle has a Use a Button Challenge. I used my  Wink of Stella brush pens  to add some  glitter to the apple sign and the apples on the paper.

  There  were  two versions of this card.  After I posted I noticed I didn't post the one with the sentiment so I am adding it  now. 

 

Puppy

Still trying to  play catch up on some  of these challenges I've missed.  I've really been  a slacker lately but just haven't had the time nor been in the mood to do anything.  I'm slowing  finding my way back.  This week at Sketch Saturday  they want you to use any previous sketch.  I chose sketch 218.  Pile it On  has  a Friendly Hello challenge. Papertake Weekly has an Anything goes challenge.

Puppy

This  cute pup is from Your Next Stamp.  I didn't have any of their images so tonight I bought some of their digitals.  This  little guy  is too cute!  Their challenge this month is  a sketch and  color  scheme.  I tried to only use the colors in the inspiration but that didn't work out too well  for me.  But I think the idea is  still the same.  Suzy Bee's Blooming Challenge is to create your own background.  I wasn't real sure about what to do with that but I see several of their designers used  embossing  so that's  the  direction I went as well.  Marker Pop has an Anything Goes Challenge.  Crafty Creations has an Out on a Limb challenge

Football

Just a  quick card  before I get moving again! It's that  time of year when  I actually get some peace and quiet at my house.  I definitely think football season should be much longer.  My guys  go to the college games on Saturday and leave me home.  Its always nice to have the house to myself and be able to relax and so as I please for a change.  Brown Sugar Challenges has a  BIG  sentiment challenge.  I think my FOOTBAL  should fit right in.
