Mix it Up!

Still trying to get a few  more  challenges done!  This is the sketch from It Seems A Bit Sketchy.  I like their quick and easy sketches!  The image is from Dee Dee's Designs and is part of her monthly challenge.  Brown Sugar has an Anything Goes Challenge.

Chocolate Chip Cookies

I plan to make  a big batch of cookies sometimes in the next week or maybe two.  I want to send cookies to several  people  for the holidays.  I thought I'd use this card along with the cookies for my  friend Gloria.  This is the Stamp of the Month at Imagine That.  CAS ology's challenge is  EAT!  City Crafters Challenge is  use a technique.  I am  learning to use the weld  feature on my  silhouette Cameo.  I've been working on improving my usage of this machine.  Penny's  Paper Challenge and Word Art Wednesday both have Anything Goes challenges

Joy Angel

Rush Rush  Rush!   I guess that's  just the name of the  game for the next month or  so!  Trying to beat the  deadline at From the Heart Stamp of the Month challenge and the I {heart} Sketch challenge.  Paper Creator's Crafts has a Christmas Challenge.  Wednesday Inspiration is Season's Greetings! Crafty Sentiments has a Die Cut  Challenge.  I used a  die to cut the  ornaments on the right side.  Simon Says Wednesday  has an Anything Goes Challenge.

Squigglefly Snowman

I feel like its been  forever  since I've had time to  play.  So now I'm rushed to get a few challenges  done at the last minute.  This is for Craft Your Passions Baby Its   Cold Outside challenge.  Through the Craft Room Door has an Anything Goes Challenge that I can still get into.

I noticed I hadn't  completed the  Meljen designs Thank You challenge. I decided to cut this card fro  Silhouette Online Store but it needed something added to it.  I chose the Meljen Thomas Turkey. I also decided to use my color pencils instead of my markers.  I have a ton of  pencils but never  use them. Cut it Up also  has a Let's talk Turkey Challenge.

Star

I held my breath the whole time this star was  cutting.  I was so afraid it wasn't going to cut out and be  perfect. Then  I had the bright idea to get out my glitter. I took everything in the kitchen to have a good clean surface to work on. My granite counter top makes cleanup real easy  when using glitter. I used the repositional spray glue to get an even coat so the glitter would stick good. It worked except for the ceiling fan in the living room was  on and now I have glitter everywhere! Oh well so much for  easy cleanup!  I  will  use this card in the Cute Card Thursday  star challenge.  Dream Valley Challenges also has an Anything Goes Challenge.  Sparkle and Sprinkles has a Use  lose  glitter challenge and since I now have lose  glitter  all over the  kitchen and  dining room I should  certainly fit in there.  Delightful Sketches challenge is add  bling!  Well I think I  have far enough blink now!

Thanksgiving

I'm really cutting it  close with my last Thanksgiving cards.  There were so many I wanted to do but never had the time for  them.  Creative Inspirations challenge this week is  a choice between  Brown and  white or vintage.  I  chose to use brown and white.  Simon Says Wednesday.  Word Art Wednesday has an  anything goes challenge. Best nap

Paper shelter's Challenge is to make a card for a  child.  I have always loved this  cute little guy  sleeping on the  elephant.   Just a  sweet innocent image.  Brown Sugar  Challenges  has a  Use two or more colors challenge.  Creative Fingers  has an  Anything Goes Challenge.  CAS on Sunday has a  make a childs  card too.

Pilgrim Hat

These  cute  pilgrim hats  came from the Silhouette online  store. I   just thought they were  so  cute! I really like  rocker cards anyway so this  was  a definite must  do card for me. Die  Cutting Divas has a Shaped Card Challenge.  Penny's Challenge and Crafting by Design both have  Anything Goes Challenges.

Catching Flakes

I haven't had much time in t he last two weeks to do much crafting! I'm so  tired and  so behind but I just had to sit and try to do  something relaxing tonight.  I'm hurrying  to make the deadline at  I {Heart} Sketches.  I never intended this  snowman to be so  orange but it just worked out that way. I  still think  he is cute. Through the Craft Room Door  and Clear  It Out both have an  anything goes challenge.  Crafty  Sentiments has a Use two or more  designer papers  Challenge.  Crafty Creations has a 3  layer  2 paper and  1 image  challenge.

Fall is in the Air

I've almost waited to late to do this one  but I really liked how it looked.  It wasn't made to be a card but I managed to turn it in tone anyway.  It is smaller than I anticipated but next time I will adjust that a bit more.  I  really like how it turned out.  It should  fit  nicely in the Creatalicious Challenges green and Orange Challenge.  Brown Sugar Challenges and Creative Fingers  both have an Anything Goes Challenge.  Digi's Designs has a Fall Challenge.  Wags and Whispers has an Add some leaves Challenge.

Mason jar candle

Months ago I bought  some printable  acetate paper.  I wasn't  sure what  I wanted to do with it but I did want to try it.  Well today was the day!  I printed this cute scarecrow on the paper  which had sticky stuff on the back anyway then  applied it to the  jar.  It took a few  minute to actually get it to lay flat but  with a  little patience it  did  work.  Then I took a black paint  marker for  glass and  wrote  Autumn Greeting on it!  Inside I  glued a battery powered 3 in candle to the  bottom and added a few hemlock burrs on and some greenery from an old wreath a few  brown material leaves and I'm done.   I think it looks very cute.  I will giving this to a friend in the nursing home to cheer  her  a bit  during this  holiday season.  613 Avenue Create has a  random gift of  kindness challenge.  I will also use this project there even though it isn't  really a paper craft project.

Penguin Box

I love this  darling little  penguin box.  I do wish however that it had a way to close it up.  I might see if I can  figure outa way.  This is  the little  girl one.  The boy has a stocking cap instead of ear muffs.  I will make him next.  This is for the SVG Cutting Files treats bags or Boxes challenge.

Christmas Tags

ok I'm breaking my own unwritten rules!    I never  ever do Christmas anything before Thanksgiving!  This  year I'm trying to avoid the stress  I had  last year when I was so behind with my  Christmas Gift Wrapping.  I have  purchased a few gifts already and I  am determined to get them wrapped before I purchase anything else.  Well if I'm going to wrap I certainly must have tags too!  It  did help motivate me that there are several Christmas Tag Challenges out there too!  Addicted to CAS is  tags.  These  were  super easy to cut  using my  silhouette and very  quick too!  Creative Card Crew has a Christmas Challenge.  Cute Card Thursday has a red and green challenge. CAS on Sunday has a  ribbon or twine Challenge. Crafting Desert Divas Also has a  tags challenge

Thanksgiving Turkey

This  sketch came from Sketch Saturday.  I turned it to fit this  embossing folder better in the background.  The image  is from Catch the Bug and should be perfect for their  Food Challenge. Through the Craft Room Door has an Anything Goes Challenge.  Marker Pop has a Fall/Thanksgiving challenge as well.

Poppies

The challenge at Sweet Stampin is red or  in remembrance.There  are so many deserving of these  emblems of thanks.  Thanks to All the vets who have served country!  Pile It on has a Special occasion challenge.  Veterans Day should be special to us all! This  cute turkey is from Kadoodle Bug.  My sister and I have really gotten into the paper piecing thing lately.  Some designs go together really easy some others  much more difficult.  Your Next Stamp has a Fall  colors or a sketch challenge.  I don't particular like the sketch do I am using this turkey as my fall colors. Peachy Keen has a  Thankful challenge.  Glitter N' Sparkle also has a Fall colors challenge.  Cupcake Inspiration has a color inspiration challenge.  Die Cutting Divas has a Turkey Challenge.  Crafting Station and Pinspirations Challenges both have a Thanksgiving Challenge.

Gone Batty

I made this  cute card a few weeks ago and  forgot to post it.  So I thought  while its not too late I might as well use it for the Whimsie Doodle too cute too spook challenge.

Santa

I  saw this center easel card  in the silhouette online store and  just couldn't wait to cut it.  I like how it looks and it was so easy!  Wednesday's Creative Inspirations Challenge this week is easel cards or stripes. I decides to use both.  Cute Card Thursday's Challenge is  Stripes.  Dream Valley has a Christmas Challenge. 

Spider Web

Id this left over from Halloween and  just hadn't  finished it.  Not sure its  finished now either but if not its going into hiding until next year.  I thought I might as well  enter it into the Cuttlebug Mania spiders challenge. I wish I had taken the time to emboss the card with spider webs for the background too!.

snowflakes

This  was a really  quick  card to put together and I think it  looks  great.  So delicate like a snowflake.  I used a metal brad in the center of the snow flake and snowflake buttons to accent it a bit more.  The challenge at My Craft Spot by Kimberli is Use Metal. Crafty Creations is Brads, Buttons or Bows.

deer at night

This   night time scene is from the Silhouette Store.  I wasn't  real sure how it would come out but I really like the dimension of the tree. The shadow gives it  a lot of depth.  City Crafter has a Oh My Dear Challenge.  This should work well there.  Paper Creators Crafts and Scribble and Scrap both have anything goes challenges.

Fox

This cute  little fox is from the Silhouette Online Store. I saw a card made out of him on Lori Whitlock's site and wanted to cut him out.  I wish I had used a different color orange paper but I couldn't find anything I really liked. But I still think he is  cute.  I am entering this card in the Tuesday Throw down Shaped card challenge.  Word Art Wednesday has an anything goes challenge.

Thanksgiving Box Card

Lori Whitlock has designed yet another darling box card!   I saw this one and was determined to get it done today! I will use it in the Lori Whitlock anything goes challenge. Also the Brown Sugar Challenges and Creative Cutting both have Thanksgiving Challenges.  Through the Craft Room Door has an Anything  Goes Challenge  as well.  Repeat Impressions also has a Thanksgiving Challenge.

Meljen Designs has a Mini weekend challenge every weekend.  They give  you a free image but You must  use it for the challenge.  I love this little  guy~  I just think he is so cute.  I will also use this image in Meljen's Autumn Brights Weekly challenge.  I used a the  sketch  from SugarPea Designs.  Craft on your passion has a Bright and sparkly Challenge.  Papertake Weekly's Challenge is  Sparkle and Glitter.  Crafty Sentiments also has a  Make it Sparkle Challenge.

Winter Mice

This  sketch is from I {heart} Sketches and this image is from  From the Heart.  Pile It On has a Feeling Cool challenge.  Marker Pop has an Anything Goes Challenge.

Sea Gull

The  challenge at  CAS on Sunday is  one layer.  I seldom make a one layer card but sometimes it does  get your message across with out all the fuss.  I'm sending this to my beach loving friend to brighten her day!  CASology also has a Sea themed challenge. ABC  Challenges has a Water themed challenge.  One cant have a great  day at the beach without  the water.

Pumpkin Box

I saw this  pumpkin box in the  Silhouette Online Store and  couldn't wait to cut it.  It was really  quick and cut really  well. I like the shape of it  as opposed to the other boxes I have made.  The Be Thankful is not part of the file but is also from the silhouette store.  It was a  little more  difficult to cut at that size but it did  work. Apple Flap Card

This  tasty looking apple is from Meljen designs and their challenge this week is a  hidden element.  I made this flap card and put my sentiment in there.  Cute Card Thursday has a razzle dazzle challenge the red  foil  paper circle behind the apple  and the  glossy accents on the apple  should  work just  fine. 

Christmas Owl

This  cute little guy is from Paper Shelter.  I just love his  big  eyes and he comes bringing  gifts.  Paper Shelter  has a Christmas Challenge and  I'm very limited on my Christmas supplies just  yet so this is what I'm stuck with.  I  used the sketch from Just Add  Ink.

Turtle

These sweet friends are from Squigglefly  Their challenge this week is to use a frame.   I borrowed a  sketch from Papertake Weekly and their challenge is a  sketch free for all.  I chose  sketch 42 as my  example.

Thinking Mouse

One  more for tonight before I turn in~ This  little guy is a freebie from Dee Dee's Design's. If you participate  each month  you  get a freebie but you hafta  use him the  following month. I'm running late with this one but really wanted to get it in.  This  little mouse is just too cute.  I cant wait to see what next month's image will be! Also  Simon Says Wednesday's Challenge is Anything  Goes!

Snowflake

On Sat Nov 1 2014.  It snowed!  Now that has NEVER happened where I live.  In fact we get  so little  snow we don't even  know what it is.  But anyway to celebrate our first snow day my sister and I made these  delicate snow flake easel cards.  It was a very tricky cut but it looks  good when it is finished. Fantastic  Tuesday has a  Monochrome challenge. Christmas Sweet Stampin's challenge is  Snowflakes.  Sweet  Stampin has a shaped card challenge.

Boo!

Eureka Stamps has a  Buttons and Bows Challenge that worked great with this  little gal.  Creative Card Crew has a Bows Challenge. CASology also has a ghost challenge.

Patches the Ghost

When I first saw this  sketch I was very unsure what I was going to do with it. But soon decided  once again to combine  challenges. I used the sketch at From the Heart and  one of their images as well.  CASology has a  ghost challenge.  Die Cutting Divas has a Halloween Challenge.
