Easter Chicks

I know everybody loves the Easter Bunny but my favorite is still the tiny yellow chicks.  There  cute candy holders are  quick to make and add a little something extra to my Grandkids Easter Baskets.  As You Like It has  a Favorite Easter character challenge.  Cute Card Thursday and  A Gem of a Challenge both have An Easter Challenge.  Cards Tv and Jo's Scrap Shack both have anything goes challenges.

Perfect Nap

Today I chose this sweet image with the sleeping  child and elephant.  I prefer  cooler colors over  hot ones any day.  Maybe its something to do with the oppressive heat  we have here in the South.  The Paper Shelter has a Hot or Cold Color Challenge.  Fab  N' Funky has an Anything but Square challenge.

Another St. Patrick's Day

I made this  card last week and forgot to post it.  I used the sketch from MFT Sketches.  I really enjoy their sketches  to get me headed in theright direction.

Mother

Apparently it is Mother's Day in Canada.  I see  several challenges with that  theme.  Even though Mother's Day isn't for a couple months here in the US I thought I'd play along.  I'll also be ahead on my Mother's Day cards.  Fab N Funky, A Gem of a Challenge and Cute Card Thursday all have a Mother's Day theme.  Cards TV has an Anything Goes Challenge.

Easter Garland

This sweet gal  is from Whimsie Doodle. I sure will miss them when they are gone.  Today I used the sketch from MFT Card Challenges.  Simon Says Wednesday has a  Girl Power challenge. Just Add Ink  has a Water Color wonder challenge.  I used my new water color pens to  color this little gal.

Bunny Basket

Today I received a new set of markers.  Nothing fancy but I thought while they were out I'd give them a try.  I'm a little disappointed in some of the color shades but I will probably use them again.  Just because this is a Dies R Us Challenge I used my nesting squares to cut the background for the image and the image piece and of course I had to use my cuttlebug.  Their challenge is to use pastels. Cuttlebug Mania has a  Ribbon and bows challenge.  Paper Shelter has a Spring Challenge. I usually  like to use one of their images for the  challenge but that's not  happening this time.

Birthday Brew

This darling kitty is  from  Newton' Nook.  I have a friend whose  birthday is next week. I plan  on getting her a Starbucks gift card to go inside this card.  I tried to color the kitten similar to her  cat.

I had a little time today to  play so I spent it  finishing up projects I had already started. I don't  understand how I can have so many thing started but not completed.

Today I was in a coloring  mood.  I had time to do a little something but not a lot so this seemed to work.  CAS Friday has a One Layer Wonder challenge. That's not usually my style but it fit for today.
I used the colors from MFT Color Challenges. Jo's Scrap Shack  has an Anything Goes Challenge.  Give a Crafter a Cookie has a bird house  photo as  their inspiration.

Happy Gardening

Today I learned that one of my favorite digital stamp companies is closing.  Whimsie Doodle  will close on March 16.  While looking for any images I might need to get before they close I saw this cute gardening gal.  I knew she  would fit  right into the  Simon Says Monday Challenge.  I used the sketch from MFT Sketches.  Crafty Sentiments and  Cute Card Thursday both have anything Goes Challenges.
