The  delicate pink butterfly card  cut out so perfectly.  I added  tiny pink pearls to give it a  more classical look.  I just love how delicate it looks.  Suzy Bee's Blooming Challenge is Anything Goes with a  twist of a  border.  These  butterflies and vines border this card nicely. Just a Little Note

Today has not been a creative day.  I just haven't been in the right mode to create today. Curtain Call has a  mason jar challenge.  This was in the silhouette store.  I really had a  tough time getting this flower together.  It  doesn't look right to me but it is what it is.  Next time I will do something different.  Wednesday's Inspiration also has a flower challenge.  Craft your passion and Crafting from the Heart both have anything goes challenges.

Prickles

I just love this  cute little guy! I've used  this image so many times  but  just cant  get enough of him.  I  sorta  bent the sketch at  I {heart} sketches to meet my needs.  My stripes are a bit  different but I  hope it works.  Also City Crafter has an Around the corner Challenge. The darker  shades in this paper are texture  to sorta  feel like a  tree. I know you cant see it but I can definitely  feel it so I'm using this in the Tuesday Throw Down texture challenge as well.  Word Art Wednesday and Inspiration Destination both have anything goes challenges.

Margarita Time

It's  Five  o'clock somewhere!  The challenge at Simon Says Monday is citrus.  I thought this would be the perfect card. When my  lady friends and I get  that rare night out we always manage to make a few margaritas disappear.  I also want to use this card in the Crafting When We Can ladies Night out challenge.  613Avenue Create also has a  Ladies Night Out Challenge.

Another Skating Bear

I colored  these skating bears weeks ago.  And I'm finally getting them off my desk.  I think this is the last one. This sketch is from Tuesday Morning Sketches.  Fan-Tastic Tuesday has an Anything Goes/ Glitter challenge.  These  tiny snowflakes are glittery and the  hat has a shimmer in it as well.   Sparkle n' Sprinkle also has an Anything Goes Challenge.  Inky Impressions has a Christmas in August Challenge.

Wedding Boxes

I've got a  couple weddings  coming up real soon.I made  4 sets of these cute little boxes to give to the bride and groom.  It  was suggested that  they maybe have a  breath  mint in them for when they  walk down the  isle to help settle their nerves.  I thought they'd be  nice  as a  surprise in their wedding gift.  The Challenge at  Cupcake Inspiration is Glam and is a picture of  black and white  cupcakes so I thought this would be perfect for the challenge.

Happy Birthday Shaker

This  fun  shaker Birthday card is for a friend in the  nursing home.  Her Birthday is tomorrow and I always manage to stop by and bring her a little something on her special day.  I hope this  cheerful card  will help cheer  her  up a bit.  Happy Birthday is another part of the Hiding in My Craft Room anniversary challenges. Back to School Apples

These   little  apple  boxes are  going to be in  Riley and Landon's lunchbox for their first day of school.  Also Hiding in My Craft Room has an Anniversary Celebration  going  on.  The second challenge for this celebration is Back to School.  Cute Card Thursday and Crafty Creations both have a  back to school challenge.  Crafty Gals has an Anything Goes Challenge.

Bird Houses

These  bird houses are  just too cute.  They've been colored and laying my desk for  several weeks.  I wasn't in a designing but  mode then but  was in a  color mode.  I have so many colored  images now. I  will slowly use them in the next few weeks.    I thought this one was pretty enough without a whole lot of background papers or  anything to distract from all the bright colors.  So when I  saw the sketch at Sketch Saturday I knew this was just the  thing for it.  Pile It On also has a Bright Colors challenge.

Sail Boat Step Card

I guess  this hot weather we are having  has  me  thinking beachy things.  I saw a similar card on Pinterest but I usually do mine a bit different so as  not to exactly copy someone else's idea.  I made this one for a friend who lives at the beach  and has a  birthday  coming up soon.  Also, Glitter n' Sparkle has a  Step Card Challenge.  There is shimmery  glitter in my water and on the anchor even tho it doesn't  show up real well in this picture. Pencils

I Don't have children in school any longer but it is still an exciting time  of year for me.  I have several friends with  kids  going back to school so I will send them a little something wishing them a  great start to  their school year.  Brown Sugar Challenges, Marker Pop, Clear It Out, Simon Says Wednesday and Addicted to CAS all have back to school challenges.

Sailor Bear

This   little bear is  from Kadoodle Bug Designs.  I enjoy putting these critters together but by the time I get them done I have no time to complete the card.  I   made this  bear  probably two weeks ago and just today  finally finished the card.  Oh well! I really like it and should have made more. Flight of the Butterfly

For a couple hours this morning I had two sweet little girls  visiting me.  It was  my  delight to have them here today.  Emily wanted to make this card with lots of  pink butterflies so here it is  just in time for the Fan-tastic Tuesday Add a Butterfly challenge.  In the Pink also has an Anything Goes Challenge.  Hiding in My Craft Room has a Die Cuts Challenge.  613 Avenue Create has an Anything Goes Challenge.

Candy Lane Snowman

Today I needed cooling thoughts. Its really hot here and I thought just maybe if I played with  Snowmen enough it might trick my brain and body into thinking it is cooler.  Ha Ha   didn't work!  Anyway I did manage to complete this  cute snowman care  using the Tuesday Morning Sketch. Sugar Pea Designs also has a  Christmas in July  challenge still going for a few more days.  I will also enter  Crazy Hazelnuts Patterned Paper Challenge.

Music Notes

I love  music and I love these trio cards.  So I knew this was the perfect choice for the Avenue 613 Create black white and your favorite color challenge.  The yellow makes the sentiment hard to read. Creative Card  Crew has a  Sparkles Challenge.  The black paper is areal fine  glitter paper to give it some sparkle and shine. Suzy Bee's Bloomin Challenges has a monochromatic challenge.

Well sometimes my original  plans don't exactly work out.  This card  didn't  work the way I wanted it to but its still a cute summertime card.  It should work nicely in the Cupcake Inspiration Challenge.  City Crafter and Pinspirational Challenges both have a Beach Challenge.  Sugar Pea Designs has a color Challenge

Flower Trios

I guess  because of the light in my  room the glitter paper I used for this card  didn't shine as much as I would have liked.  I did  add  more shine with the  yellow bling in the flower centers .  This is for the Glitter and Sparkle flower challenge. Yellow Bird

The bright  cheerful  little bird is  crowing about something to celebrate.  The bright colors just make this a  happy card to receive.  Suzy Bee's Blooming challenge is Celebrations.  Addicted to CAS is all about banners this week.  Inspiration Destination has  their usual Anything Goes Challenge.

Sail Away!

My sister came  for a short visit from Michigan.  We thought  we would  have more time to play but we were busy doing other things. Oh well, that is how  things go in my life.  This cute little box card was  just to irresistible.  I  love how it turned out.  Jo's Scrap Shack has an Anything Goes Challenge as their 100th Challenge.  Hiding in My Craft Room has a Use Your Scraps Challenge.  I was able to get all of this  from my scrap basket.  I love being able to use scraps. Craft on Your Passion and Crafting From the Heart both have Anything Goes Challenges.  Pile It On has a Winter Or summer Challenge. Flip Flops

I am  new to Newton's Nook. I thought I'd try this freebie before I buy some of the images.  I am a  flip flop person.  It is my only shoe in the  summertime so this was an easy choice for me. Marker Pop has an anything goes challenge.

Bill Driver

My friend  Bill Driver is  going through a  real tough time right now.  I'm sending this card to him in hope sit will brighten his spirit just a bit and let  him know that I am thinking of him and his  family.  These are  not  colors I would normally use but the challenge at Hiding in My Craft Room is the combination.  Pile It On  has a sequins or beads challenge.  Paper Take Weekly and Inspiration Destination both have an Anything Goes Challenge.
