Mom

This  originally started out as a  print and cut  file in the Silhouette Online Store, but I  didn't want it that way so I  took it apart and make a card out of it and layered it.  Instead of  cutting the flowers I decided these  cute  flower shaped cards would be perfect for the Papertake Weekly cute as a Button Challenge

Mother's Day

Mother's day is just around the corner.  I'm really wondering how much faster this  year can fly by.  It seems it was  just  Valentine's  Day a few days ago.  I will be sending this  to a few Mother's  who are in a nursing home and  whose  children may or may not remember to think of their mothers  on this day.  Also it  fits  right in the Clear It Out and  Crafting By Designs Mother's Day Flowers  Challenge.  Wednesday's Inspiration has  an Anything Goes challenge.  Craftin Desert Divas also has a Mother's Day challenge.

Blue Cake

Sugar Pea Designs had this sketch as  their bi monthly challenge.  This  smiling cake is  from my Scrap Chick and was  just too cute to pass up.  Crafty Creations has a  Spots challenge.  One Crazy Stamper has an Anything Goes Challenge.

Caught a Bug

This  sketch came from Tuesday Morning Sketches.  I love its  simplicity!  I  used  my  embossing folder that  seems to be my  favorite.  I use it ALOT!  if I don't know what  to use  that's the one I  most often pick up. As You Like It Challenges has a favorite embossing and why Challenge.  This has to be  my favorite style because I haven't  tried anything else. LOL

Pink Butterfly

I saw this card  quite some time ago and put it on my to do list.  last night my sister and I  finally did it.  She lives  in  Michigan and we  spend card making time online together lots of time.  Tuesday Throwdown has an Up in the Air  Challenge. One Last Easter Card

I  was  cleaning off my table and I found this one last Easter card I hadn't finished.  I decided that was a sign  I was  supposed to use it for the Crafty Sentiments Easter challenge.  Word Art Wednesday has an Anything Goes Challenge.

Tree

My sister and I spent Saturday after noon  playing. We made this card and  they started out being the same but as usual I had to change mine and she  tweeked hers and in the end  they were similar but not the same.  This usually happens to us.  Anyway. I used a little  glitter on my squirrel to make him  stand out  a bit and would fit in the Sparkle N Sprinkle glitter challenge.  I'm not a big fan of  glitter  because I end up wearing more of it than I get on the paper. 

Chase

My friend Carlene is having a little boy  in a couple weeks.  I didn't want to wait till the last  minute to make her card.  Her little boy's  name will be Chase.  I am sure she will enjoy this little  onesie card I made for her.  Also  2Cute Ink Digitals has a baby Challenge.  Inspiration Destination and Through the  Craft Room Door both have Anything Goes Challenges.  Simon Says Monday  has a Due Date Challenge.

Rainy Day

There are A  couple  April Shower Challenges.  Addicted to CAS is April Showers.  I kept this card simple so that it  would  fit there. Marker Pop also has an April Shower Challenge.

Nautical Block

This nautical block  sits in my camper and is often used as a night light.  Instead of twinkle lights there's only one  night light bulb in the bottom.  This  should be  perfect for the Glitter N Sparkle Anything but a  card  challenge.

Seashells

The  challenge at CAS on Sunday  is  gold.  I wasn't real sure what  to do but I like the way  this looks.  Inspiration Destination has an Anything Goes Challenge.

Hummingbird

I love this  little guy~  I know  already that the  three I made are not enough.  This  went together so easy and  I  have thought of so many uses for this little hummingbird.  I thinking about  cutting  him from vinyl and making a  window display for my back door.  Suzy Bee's Blooming Challenge is  Anything Goes with Dies Or  Punches. Die Cuttin Divas has a Garden challenge.  My flower garden wouldn't eb complete with out my  hummingbirds and their  always  empty  feeders. Craft On Your Passion has an Anything Goes challenge as  usual.  The Crafting Café has a  Flights of Fancy  Challenge.  I  think these hummingbirds are  kinda  fancy in they  carefree flights.  Paper Creators Crafts has a flower Challenge.  3  Girl Jam has an Anything with Ribbon  goes Challenge.  SVG Cutting has a Summer Challenge.  I'd say this little guy should fit right in.

Garden Hat

This  cute  little garden hat  is in the silhouette store.  In  my haste to get it  finished I forgot to texture the  top of the hat as I had  planned.  I will do it the next time. I love the bright flowers.  I cut them in white  because I was in a  rush to get this done and I also needed to use my markers for the As You Like It  favorite marker and colors and why challenge.  I love my Spectrum markers.  There are so many color  possibilities and the  sharp  tips make them  easy to use in  small areas.  Crafting By Designs also has a shaped card  challenge. A Gem of a Challenge has a Spring Challenge.  Pile It On has am April Showers/Spring Flowers Challenge.  Artistic Inspiration has an Anything Goes/Spring Challenge.  Dream Valley has a  Kraft paper  Challenge.  I used kraft paper to cut the hat base all though  you cant see much of it. Paper  Creators Crafts has a Flower Challenge.

Happy Birthday Shaker

I wanted to  keep this card  simple so that the  shaker was the  main focus.  I always think shakers when I  see  sequins.  Not real sure why but I seldom use them for anything else.  This card is for the Just Add Ink Sequin Challenge.  Little Tangles also has a  Sequins Challenge.  Crafting From The Heart and Craft on Your passion  both have anything goes challenges.

Just Bee Cause

Clear It Out has a  Yellow Challenge. Yellow is one of my favorite colors and I use a lot of it. I was able to cut the bees from scraps and use an embossing folder I've had on my  table to  use for a while.
Through the Purple Haze has an Anything Goes Challenge.  Simon Says Wednesday has a make your  own background challenge.  Creative Card Crew and Crafty Calendar Challenges both have an Add a Sentiment challenge.

Lady Bug Lift Off

Purple Flowers

Here I am  working on challenges again!  Seems I just can't  get caught up~  After this  post I'm thinking about doing a  more  fun project instead of  focusing on challenges.  This  is the sketch at From the Heart.  Its been a  while since I've made time to do these sketches. Pile It On  has a  Fancy Frames and  Borders challenge.  Sugar Pea Designs has a Celebrate Spring Challenge.  Curtain Call has a  Spring Flower Challenge.  CardsTV also  has a flower challenge.

For Bill

I never  ever  send my nephew cards.  No particular reason  except that I don't think about  doing it.  But tonight I made this card especially for him.  I   wish I had used a different color base but this will do  until next time.  This  sketch is from Stella Says Sketch.   Die Cutting Divas has a zoo Animal Challenge.  There is an Anything Goes Challenge at Inspiration Destination.  Digitally Sweet Challenges has a Sports Challenge.   This isn't exactly a sport but it  does represent a sports team.  Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper   has a Patterned paper challenge.

When it Rains It Pours

This  wasn't exactly the mental  image I started  with for this card but sometimes they don't always work the way you think they will.t is  still cute and delivers a very profound message. The  challenge at Wags N Whiskers is Buttons.  613 Avenue Create has an Anything Goes Challenge.  Addicted to CAS challenge word is showers.  Dies R Us has an April Shower Challenge as well.

Butterfly

Just had a few minutes this morning to see if I could get a couple challenges done.  I am trying real hard to get back in the swing of things but I have so much  to do I just cant see to get caught up.  This  sketch is from Your Next Stamp and is  part of their challenge this week.  I don't have any of the Your Next Stamps but it sure would be nice to win  one or two.  Jo's Scrap Shack has a  flowers and butterflies challenge.  Glitter N' Sparkle has a butterfly challenge as well.  The  orange butterfly at the bottom has  a  shimmer to it but its so hard to see thru the  camera  lens.  Crafty Creations has a  Spot  Challenge. 

 

Seahorse Wine Glass

In a few weeks I am planning a big  camping trip  with several families.  The ladies always  have little trinket  gifts  that we  exchange.  I decided this  year to try  glass etching.  I'm not sure I've really got it down  good but  I'm pretty happy with these.  I will be making them for  each family.  The  Challenge at CardsTV is Spring Decorating.  Tuesday Throwdown has a clear challenge. 

Make a Wish

This was a free design from SVG.  My sister and I  turned it into a card by offsetting and flipping it.  It took some time to get all the layers done but it is a  fun card.  Next time I will  cut the card base in a different  color than  white.

I've been waiting to make this  card for  quite a while but I  finally decided to go ahead and cut it.  It went together realy fast and  the cuts were perfect. Sorry my picture is a bit blurred  I will fix it soon. Not sure what happened with my camera.

Dad

Yet  another day has  come and gone and I  didn't have much time to be creative.  I did  take time to make this  card for my Grandson to send to his Dad  who is in the Navy and on deployment in Yeman.  My daughter is putting together a care package and this card  will be from Liam who is  a year old.  I also want to use it in  the Crafty Creations ,Penny's Challenge and Craft On Your Passion anything goes  Challenge.  Cute Card Thursday also has a Blue challenge. Dies R Us  Challenges has a challenge  for the Boys.

Hippity Hop

I started this card before Easter and am just now  finishing it.  Iwill file it away  til next year but it was fun to make.  Scribble and Scrap always has an Anything Goes Challenge.  Clear It Out and Papertake Weekly both have an Anything Goes Challenge. Heart Doily

Die Cutting Divas has a sketch challenge this month.  I turned their sketch around  to make it work for this card and  used  twne instead of ribbon but it should be close enough to work. Spring Blessings

I Love Daffodils!  They are  sprouting up all over my  yard so when I saw this image at From the Heart I knew I'd  use it really  quickly.  It fits perfectly in the CASology And Di's Digitals  Spring Challenge and the Word Art Wednesday Family Friendly Challenge.

Birdhouse

I managed to steal a few minutes of  quiet time today before Liam woke up. He's So much fun to have around and I will miss him when he is gone but I do need a few minutes of quiet time too~  I've had this  bird house printed and laying on my  desk since  last Spring.  Its way past time I used it. The flower was also laying there waiting to find its  home someplace.  I am  using this card in the following challenges.

Happy Easter

Things have been so hectic at my house for the last few weeks and I have had little  time to play with my crafty things.  I hope soon, ( maybe thebeginning of June) things  will settle down a nd  I can get back to normal.  I did  take time to cut a few of these  cute  Rabbit cards for the children of some friends.  I thought it was jusst too cute.
