Winter Blues

It is  so cold here today.  So I decided to cut this  quick  winter card for the Gem of  A  Challenge Blue challenge. Catch the Bug also has a Winter themed challenge.  Crafting From the Heart has an Anything Goes Challenge.

Melody's New Baby

Today I'm  striking things off my  To Do List.  In a few days I will need a card for my friend, Melody,  who is expecting her third baby.  Both 613 Avenue Create and Crafty Sentiments have a  Something New Challenge.  {Pin}spirational Challenges has a Baby challenge.

Harriette's Tag

My friend, Harriette, has a birthday next week.  She really likes to sew and  has recently started a new  quilt.  For her birthday I decided to get her some  sewing items I knew she needed.  The challenge at Simon says Monday inspired me to make my own tag rather than use a  store bought one.   I don't usually  take the time to make my own tags except at  Christmas so  maybe this  will inspire  me to  make others.

Think Snow

It has been a  cold and wet couple of days.  There is no chance that we will get  snow but It is nice to think about.  I had a  couple hours to play last night  so I made snow flake cards.  I used   a snowflake die to cut extra  snow flakes for this card. I thought it needed a little something extra to  give it some shine.

Cute Girl

While  I was  cleaning off my desk I found this cute little gal I colored  several months ago.  So I decided  rather than store her away til later I'd use her in the  Tuesday Morning Sketch this week.  I used  several scraps that  were also hiding on my desk.  Maybe I might actually get it  cleaned off today!.  Crafty Calendar Challenges and Tuesday Morning Throw Down both have Anything Goes Challenges.

Wishing Well

Today is a  dull dreary wet and cold  day here.  The  house is  quiet and I thought I'd have plenty of time to be creative and get some  projects done, but  the head  just wasn't  into it.  I started out with the  sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches.  Those are usually  great inspiration to get me started.  Seems today I needed  a bigger  push.  Simon Says Monday has a  Bird Challenge.  So that  gave me another idea to work towards.  I guess I needed  bright and cheerful because this is what I came up with.

Sam's Birthday

Seize the Birthday is one of my favorite Challenges.  They have an Anything Goes Challenge.  I needed this card  for  a friend's birthday  later this month. I used the sketch at MFT Challenges for my design. Simon Says Wednesday has  a patterned paper challenge.  Catch the  Bug has a  Birthday Celebration  going on.  The theme for Day 1  was  Bold and Bright. This  should fit  right in.  A  Gem of a Challenge has a Happy Anything Theme.  Cards TV  has an Anything Goes Challenge.
