treat stands

I am sure  Kris from Imagine that will notice right away that  the paper she designed  doesn't exactly  match the way mine  printed.  Apparently my printer has a mind of its own and this is how it printed  so I decided rather than waste the  paper I'd use it that way.  This  image is the digi of the month at Imagine That. I used chevron paper as my background to fit in the Addicted to CAS chevron challenge.  the  sketch is from Sketch Saturday.  I also want  to use this in Crazy Hazelnuts patterned paper challenge.

back to school

ABC Challenges and Cut it Up both have a numbers  challenge this week.  I made this card for Emily and Jessica's first day of school.  I always send them a little something to help start their first day of school off  good.  Craft on  Your Passion, Crafty Gals,  Inspiration Destination and  Crafting From the Heart all have anything goes challenges. Little Tangles has a die cutting challenge. Digitally Sweet challenges also has an anything goes challenge.

Christmas Ornaments

Dies are Us and Paper Creator's Crafts both have a Christmas in July challenge.  I decided this darling ornament card would fit perfectly.  Little Tangles has a die Cutting challenges as well. Hiding in My Craft Room has an Any Holiday challenge.

Butterflies

Just Add Ink has a butterfly challenge this week.  I really like how this delicate card turned out. I should have taken a  picture of the inside as well to show my stamped sentiment.  I'll try and get it later.  Word Art Wednesday has their usual Anything Goes Challenge.   Fantastic  Tuesday  has an  Anything goes/feminine Challenge. Crafty Time has a die  or punch challenge. Natalie and Amy  have a Summertime Challenge. Bird Brain Christmas

Today I wanted to do something different. I'm tired of  using my  markers all the  time so  decided to color this little guy with my  colored pencils instead.  The  sketch at I {heart} sketches sorta  left me wondering what I wanted to do so I  had to ponder that thought for a while.  I decided the banners would be perfect so here they are.  I chose  a  Christmas image so I could also squeeze in the Die Cutting Divas' Christmas in  July challenge.  I used a  die to cut my  banners.  Crafty Gals also has a to Die for Challenge.  Penny's paper Challenges,Tuesday Throw Down and Sugar Pea Designs all  have  Christmas in July challenges.

Sunflowers

I wanted to make a bright cheerful card to send to a friend who is having some issues  right now.  just hoping this might brighten their day.  I used the sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches.  Clear It Out has a  Summertime/ribbon challenge.  Crafty Sentiments,  Brown Sugar Challenges and Little Miss Muffett all have Anything Goes Challenge.  Di's Digi Challenges has an any hand colored image challenge.

Sea Shells

I love all things  beach!  So I saw this  embossing folder and knew it would be on my  to do list.  Finally I got around to it.  This  little gal from Whimsie Doodle seemed to fit perfectly.  Jo's Scrap Shack has an Embossing/distressing challenge. I don't  do a lot of distressing but I do love embossed cards. Through the Craftroom Door and Inspiration Destination both have anything goes challenges. Fantastic  Tuesday has a beach challenge.  Crafting By Design has a  summertime challenge.

You take the Cake

 A few  weeks  ago my sister  cut this  cute card without me.  It has taken me this long to finally have enough time to  do it.  I love all the bright colors  and the layers. I made several to keep on hand for all those special  birthdays coming up soon.  Wags 'n Whiskers has a Birthday Challenge I'm squeezing into at the last minute. Simon Says Wednesday has a Sparkle and Shine Challenge.   Catch the Bug has a Bingo Challenge.  I used  paper piecing layers and bling for this challenge. Craft Your Passion and Crafting from the Heart both have their usual anything goes challenge.  Sparkle and Sprinkle also has anything goes challenge.  the  glitter on my cake  doesn't  shine  very much  in this picture but it is  there.  Simon Says Monday has  an I Scream for-----    challenge.  I'd fill the blank in with  cake.  Hiding in My CraftRoom has a Lots of Layers Challenge.

HedgeHog

This  cute little Hedgehog box is  from the Silhouette Online Store.  My daughter has wanted a hedgehog for a pet for  quite a while.  So far she has resisted the urge to get one.  I will give her this  cute box with a treat in it instead.  City Crafter has a  Woodland animals challenge.  I'm pretty sure this  little guy would be  quite  comfortable living in the woods.  Paper Take Weekly has a No Squares  Challenge. 

Cupcakes

Another Meljen Design! This little mouse gets into all kinds of mischief. Seems he likes purple icing. The challenge at CASology is  cupcake.  Clear it Out has a purple challenge.  Penny's paper Challenge and Word Art Wednesday both  have Anything Goes Challenges.  The challenge at Tuesday Throwdown is  Tic Tac Toe. There were several options. I used Enamel Dots, twine and plain cardstock.

Ice cream

Another week end has come and gone and I had no time to play. So here I sit late on Sunday night doing a couple challenges before bed.  This ice cream  cone is from Meljen and is one of my favorite summertime images.  I used a  wobble behind the strawberry  scoop out to give  it a little jiggle.  I'm not real sure where this  Yum mmm die came from and I've never used it.  You cut the shape then emboss the inside of it. Die Cuttin Divas has an Ice Cream Challenge. Through the Craft Room Door has an Anything Goes Challenge.  Crafty Creations'  challenge is  "That's Cool".  Wednesday's Inspiration is Let's Color. I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday.

baby

I found myself  in need of another baby boy card  but not for a few months.  Anyway I went ahead and made this one for the Brown Sugar Challenges.  I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday. Simon Says Monday is Anything Goes this week.

baseball

I love  college baseball. It is by far my  favorite sport.  I look forward to the season starting in February and hate to see it leave in May.  I'm using this card in the As You Like It favorite sport challenge.  Artistic Inspiration has an Anything Goes/Summertime Challenge. Christmas Shaker

Another shaker card!  My sister and I  recently bought  a fusing tool to  make shaker cards go together easier.  It does a great  job. Its a  bit early for  me to be thinking about  Christmas but we really wanted to work  with this tool so we could  use it more effectively There  were several Christmas Challenges this week  so  this card seemed  appropriate.  Penny's Challenge and Word Art Wednesday both have  anything goes challenges. The Paper Shelter has a Holidays challenge. Fab N' Funky has an Inspired by a Song Challenge.  My Song for this card is Oh Christmas Tree!  Just Add Ink has a  Christmas in July Challenge.  Crafty Calendar Challenges and Paper Creators Crafts also has  Christmas  in July  theme.

Rockets

CASology has a repeat challenge. I saw  this trio card and wanted to make it but never got around to it. I guess I will save this card for next year.  I love these trio cards from  the Silhouette Online Store.  I have made several but have lots to go yet.  Inspiration Destination has an Anything Goes Challenge.  A Gem of a Challenge has a red white and blue challenge.  Little Tangles has a Die Cut Challenge.

Crab Shaker

I had a very busy weekend and was unable to get much crafting  done.  My sister and I did manage to get a few  minutes to make this adorable crab shaker card.  We each bought  a  new fusing tool to make shaker cards easier.  I must  say it  will encourage both of us to make  more shaker cards.  I love how this one  looks.  There are several  challenges I want to use this card to help catch up.

My sister and I made this Kadoodle Bug Bear fro the Christmas Challenge. She lives in Michigan and I live in SC but we get together online to make cards some evening and nights.  usually are  cards are different enough we can use them in the same challenges.  Wags and  Whiskers has a  more than one fold challenge.  Craft Your Passion and Crafting from the Heart both have their usual anything goes challenges.

This  sketch and  color scheme is from Your Next Stamp.  I don't have  very many of their stamps so am kinda limited as to what I can do.  Suzy Bee's Blooming Challenges has a floral Challenge.  Jo's Scrap Shack has any Anything Goes Challenge.

Pink Happy Birthday

Today I  needed  birthday card for a  birthday I overlooked.  Had to grab something  quick so here is the end result.  Not bad for  a 10  minute card.  Fab N' Funky has a birthday challenge and Inky Impressions has a girly challenge. Tuesday Throw Down has a No patterned Paper  Challenge. CAS on Sunday has  an embossing  challenge.  Crafting Desert Divas  also has a  birthday challenge.

Bees

This pretty Bee  banner  didn't seem to need anything else to be pretty.  Crafty Gals Corner and City Crafter both have a Yellow  Challenge. Creative Inspirations  and Word Art Wednesday both have an Anything Goes Challenge.  Crafty Sentiments has a "sweet" challenge.  I am pretty sure this honey would be pretty sweet.

Wagon

Another 4th of  July  image I didn't get to before the  holiday.  Oh well, I'll save it for next year.  I like these little wagons loaded with different things.  I will be using  them later this year too.  This  sketch is from Sugar Pea Designs.  Instead of a circle I  used a  square  but I  think the idea is  the same. Penny's Challenge and Glitter N Sparkle both have an Anything Goes challenge.  Crazy Hazelnuts Patterned Paper Challenges is always anything with patterned paper.

I don't  usually use the game sketch for  two entries but today I just had to do something with this  little  guy.  I think he  is just too cute.  Simon Says Monday has a Summertime Challenge.   Cut It Up Challenges has a sticker Challenge.  My sentiment is  actually a sticker.  Inspiration Destination has an Anything Goes Challenge.  Paper Shelter has a  Boys Challenge.  Pile It On has  a Hot Fun in the Summertime.  Firecrackers really do get hot!  Brown Sugar Challenges  and  613 Avenue  Create both have Red White and Blue Challenges.

Patriotic Birthday

I have a couple friends who have  Birthday's today! I usually  send them a combination Birthday/Happy 4th card.  This year I decided on this cute little  print and cut from the Silhouette Store.  This card has several layers (more than I usually do)  but I like the looks of it.  There are also a  few remaining red white and blue challenges.
