Hearts

I really this this sweet image from Bug a boo stamps.  my glitter maker kinda smeared and made a  slight mess but It will be ok. Not everything must be perfect.  I followed the Stella sketch for this card. These sketches make my card making so much easier.  I also used a Valentine candy heart embossing folder I've had for along time. Tuesday Throwdown  has an Embossing  Challenge.  Crafty Creations has an Anything Goes challenge.

Cold Weather

We have certainly  had our  share of  cold wet weather.  It is so nice to snuggle in  front of the warm fire.  Today I  used the sketch from  Sketch Saturday. Their sketches make putting cards together so much easier for me. Dream Valley, Crafting From the Heart and Through the Craft Room Door all have Anything Goes Challenges ending soon.

Snowflake

My  picture does not do justice for this elegant snowflake.  I love the  white on white image with just the simple glitter embellishments to give it sparkle.  Addicted to CAS has a snowflake challenge.  Cupcake Inspirations has a  Something New Challenge.  My new thing is a new Cuttlebug.  I had completely worn my old one out. City Crafter and  Simon Says Wednesday both have a CAS  challenge as well.

Liam's Train

I wanted to cut this train before Christmas and  just never got around to it.  Today I decided to go ahead and do it for my Grandson, Liam.  He loves trains. He wont even care if its a Christmas Train or not.  He has a special Mailbox  that little cards and other trinkets sometimes get placed in side.  I also  noticed Fab N Funky has a For a Child Challenge. Creative Knockouts and CardsTv both have Anything goes Challenges ending soon.

Flowered Heart

Today Im  in a  Clean and Simple mode.  I'm making a few  Valentine cards to take to the local nursing home.  Just a little something to give to some of the patients who don't have a lot of visits from  family.  I used the  Poppy Stamps curved heart border and the Cheap O Dies Heart to make this.  Dies R  Us has an Anything Goes Challenge.  Both  of  these dies were recent purchases that I hadn't had a  chance to put to use.  so I am also using them for the Something New Challenge at Simon Says Monday

Warm WIshes

I can not believe it has been since August that I last posted.   The last  6 months has purely escaped and I don't know where it went.  So much  going on and no time to slow  down.  Anyway today I made this card using the sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches.  I used a Newton's Nook image that I just think is too cute.  I picked the image before I even looked at  their current challenge but after looking at it I went with their color scheme.  Both Crafty Sentiments and Through the Craft Room Door have Anything Goes Challenges.

Hyacinth

It's been a really long time since I have been able to post  a challenge.  Today I found a  few minutes so Of course I turned to one of my favorite sketch challenges for inspiration.  I used Sketch Saturday but instead of an oval for my image I chose a rectangle. I think it  will still work.  Both Cards TV and Jos' Scrap Shack have Anything Goes Challenges.  That's it for  tonight but maybe I will be back  soon with more challenges.

Happy Mother's Day

Mother's Day is Sunday and I managed to get several of these made  just in time.  It seems I've really been  running behind lately. I love this bright cheerful card and I hope all the mothers I sent one to  will enjoy it as well.

Thinking of you

Today I used the  sketch at Freshly Made Sketches to make this card.  I love all things beach.  So this set of stamps from  Art Impressions was a must have. Art Impressions has a circles challenge. This is not  their intended  use but it is what I had time to make today.  Soon you  will see it in the correct layout.  As You Like It challenges has a favorite  coloring median.  I really enjoy  using my Spectrum markers for all my coloring needs.

Monster

This  little guy made me laugh when I saw him.  I immediately knew he needed to be green and  some other bright colors.  The  silvery looking colors are actually a metallic purple. ( Just another camera malfunction). I am sure my little Grandson will get a kick out of this little guy too! I used the sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches.  Fab N Funky has a Fantasy or Fairytale Challenge. Little Miss Muffet has an Anything Goes Challenge later this month. Crafty Creations and Pinspirational Challenges both have Anything Goes Challenges.

Honey Bear

My husband and I raise bees for their honey. So naturally whenever I see Bee  images I can't wait to use them.  This cute set is from Stamping Up.  I will be using it  more real soon. Tonight I'm using it for both the  Cards TV and Word Art Wednesday  Anything Goes challenge.  Give a Crafter a Cookie has Bees as their theme this month as well.

Today  I used the sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches to make this sweet card.  It  didn't turn out  quite the way I planned but I used scraps from my desk  rather than getting out something else.  Crafty Sentiments has a For Girls Only challenge.  Hiding in My Craft Room has a Scraps Challenge.

Believe

I have a friend who graduates from college  in a  few weeks.  She's  lacking a bit of confidence right now and  is very unsure about where life leads her  next.  I thought this quick card might give her a bit of a confidence boost.  Also, Casology has  Believe as their Cue Word.  Through the Craft Room Door and Crafting From the Heart both have an Anything Goes Challenge.

A quick Birthday card to start off the day!  Today I used the sketch and color scheme from Your Next Stamp.  A Gem of a Challenge has a Female Birthday with a  sentiment challenge.  I grabbed my rectangle die that was still laying on my desk and cut the image and the background  so I can use this for the Dies R Us Anything Goes Challenge.  Jo's Scrap Shack and Catch the Bug Both have Anything Goes Challenges.  Aud Sentiments also has a Birthday with Sentiment challenge.

Wild About You

One more for  tonight and I'm  calling it a night.  It's been a long tiring day and tomorrow doesn't look much better.  MFT Challenges has a  color challenge that I used for this card.  It sorta seems this card is missing something but I cant' quite decide what to add to it.  CardsTV , Creative Knockouts and Cute Card Thursday all have Anything Goes challenges.
